Description of Work: Reliable Roofing does not live up tho their name. In 2008 we hired them to do a complete tear off and re-roof of our home in Winnebago. One evening we came home to a Waterfall in our front living room. Heavy rain had been forcast for that evening. The workers went ahead and tore off our old shingles and didn't bother to tarp the unprotected roof. It was about 9 pm when we came home ond found water pooring in our fromt livingroob around our bay window. We called the business line and got an answering service, after a half hour of no response we called back and the service said they had paged someone....still no answer so I looked up the owner's home phone number and reached him. He came to our home about 10:30 and climbed up on our roof in the thunderstorm and placed a tarp over it. He was obviously embarrised and really didn't have and explanation as to how or why this happened. Fortunatly we had old carpet that need to be removed anyway and the way the water came in around the old window it did not damage the drywall. The other problems we had in one corner of the roof over our garage/office they started the shingles too high. This left a gab where we could see bare wood between the loswest shingle and the gutter. It kind of looked like a sail waiting to channed water underneathe and rott the wood. Their resolution was to squeeze a bunch of white caulk into the hole. We thought they should tear that whole section off and redo it. They would not and secured a piece of flashing to fill the hole. Speaking of flashing they left one long section outside my kitchen window on our 3 season room that is wrinkled and not straight. They also tore the screens on our 3 season room when they were removing the old roof. For all of this inconvenience they took $500 off our total. I would have gladdly paid several thousand more to have a more professional job. We recently contact the company to give and estimate to repair storm damage. They came out and said not only our 3 season room need a complete tear off but the entire roof need to be redone due to hail damage. I called our insurance adjuster and he asked for photo's of the hail damage. I called Karl the owner of Reliable Roofing and he said he could do that. More than 3 weeks have gone by and no word from him. I called another roofing company out and they said the reason the 3 season roof (rubber roof) had damage is because it was not properly secured in the 1st place. The rest of the roof was in good condition except a few loose shingles that could be repaired. There was NO hail damage. We will be using KenZ Roofing for all future projects.

Description of Work: I used Reliable Roofing about 3 years ago and they did a tear down and re-roof.

Description of Work: They tore off the old shingle roof on our house. They put in all new roofing felt and roof vents and flashings. They replaced a couple of sheets of plywood that had begun to rot from water exposure. They put "ice and water shield" all around the edges of the roof and put on all new shingles.
