Pearson Plumbing & Heating

I've been impressed by the professionalism of Ken Rush. He was able to fix my toilet by installing a new ring and resetting the seat firmly to make sure it's not wobbly. Also, he gave me good advice for the future. Regarding Pearson, I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this company. We have been using Pearson for 7 years, and always satisfied with the works provided.

Everything about them is excellent. They come when they say they are going to, within a three hour time frame and do what they say they are going to do and leave. I have been using them for years.

Installation was good (efficient, neat, good communication). We always feel if Pearson does something it will be done right. Six years later everything is still right. Pearson is always our go-to.

They had done well except for forgetting a few things, like failing to give me new filters for the new furnace. I figure if you spend that kind of money you should at least get some filters. They re-hooked up a washing machine that they had to unhook and move, but it was leaking. They did come out the next day and fixed everything. They were efficient and got the job done eventually.

They pretty much did what they said they were going to do and everything went well. I don't remember any significant problems. I think they were slightly less than some of the other estimates.

I regularly use Pearson for my plumbing and HVAC needs in my rental dwellings. They are prompt and responsive. In this case, I called at 4pm on Friday that there was no heat at my rental building. I was told that because they would be after hours before they were able to respond, there would be an extra charge. Since I needed the repair urgently and they have done good work for me before, I agreed. The technician arrived within 2 hours and satisfied the customer in a short space of time. When he inspected, there was a problem with both the furnace and the water heater. He said that there was an ignition problem in both and he was not qualified to service the water heater which would have to wait until Monday. I was told that he bled the system of air and it fired right up. This is not a problem that I or the tenant could have solved by ourselves as is sometimes the case and I was glad of the service. On Monday, we did not see a technician and I called them wondering about it. They apologized for not telling me that they had to order the part and they would get there as soon as the part arrived which may actually be on Tuesday. Nevertheless, they arrived late in the afternoon on Monday and solved the problem. I expected to pay two service calls including one for after hours and for work on both and a part. To my surprise, when I opened the bills, which were mailed separately, they were both for ZERO dollars! I almost cried, I was so grateful for their help at a time when money was critical for this non-budgetary expense. They have always billed me what I consider to be a reasonable rate for all my services and I will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

Our 8 year old water heater started leaking on a Thursday evening. We telephoned Pearson that evening, knowing they have emergency service. A person answered the telephone promptly. We said we didn't need emergency service, but would like attention first thing the next morning. The person was polite and professional and said we would get a call back from Pearson sometime after 8:00 a.m., their starting time. We got the call at 7:45 a.m. Friday, assuring us that someone could do the job that morning. Mark telephoned that he was on his way an hour later. He was friendly and polite and the job was done before noon and we had hot water again, hooray.

Very good experience. Serviceman was ontime, very professional and cleaned everything up when he finished.

For an hour and fifteen minutes it cost me $220.00. I have had more work done by Roto-Rooter and they are half of that price. I was really shocked at it being so much money. They charge $60.00 or $65.00 just for a service call and then it is $59.00 for every half hour. They did good enough work I just didn't care for the pricing at all. They were very prompt in coming.

Service person arrived slightly behind schedule, but called ahead to confirm he would be a little late. He was very friendly and professional. Explained everything in great detail (i.e., what was included in the service, etc.) He answered all of my questions and showed me any of the issues. Service was completed, issues addressed, and next steps outlined for what needed to still be done.

After the first two fiasco's, the manager called me and set up a Saturday so that I did not have to take off a third day from work. So far, no more leaks or drips!

When I made the appointment, I was given a four hour window of time, but was told to be home by 1 pm as I was scheduled early for the afternoon. At 2:30 pm, I called the company and asked if they were still coming, and was told that the person was running late. He appeared after 4 pm and stayed 45 minutes, and told me that the disposal, which was put in by a friend, had not been tightened correctly, but was working then. I fixed the board under the sink, then, three days later, I proceeded to wash dishes. When I let the water out, I could hear the drips under the sink, and I was not happy. I contacted the company, and made an appointment for a four hour range in the morning the next week. I made it clear that I had to be leaving for work by 1230pm, and was told that the work would be done between 0800 - 1200. At 1230, when I had to leave, I called Pearsons and told them that I had to leave. At the same time, the worker called me to say he would be there in and quot;20 minutes or soand quot;, as he had been working on a big project earlier. I did not make another appointment, and I requested a partial refund. I need to call the company to follow up on that request.

Everything is automated and they sent a report on what they found. I can save it on a flash drive or on my computer. When they came in they were friendly and respectful of the house; they took their shoes off while in the house. They thoroughly explained what they were doing.

GreatFixed the problems when another technician failed TWICE.

I thought they did a great job. I had a leak in my basement which caused a lot of damage to my basement ceiling, then because they did a g reat job there, I asked them to fix my toilet tank and kitchen faucet. Which they did quite easily.
