Description of Work: Put in a new 50 gallon gas water heater,my old one was really draining slowly and they did what they could to speed things up without making a mess all over, they instructed me on how to operate it and asked how any other past repairs were going.

Description of Work: Call Pearson to repair my inoperative furnace and they arrived promptly as promised and quickly diagnosed the problem. The gave me all the fact and it was a pretty easy decision that I need a new furnace. They gave me what I thought was a very fair priced on a new high efficiency furnace and scheduled a time convenient for me for install.

Description of Work: Install air purifier. Went pretty well was done in about 2 hrs

Description of Work: Furnace went out and wouldn't heat. They made a special effort to get the part for the furnace and had it running in a prompt way. We are very pleased with the service they provided.

Description of Work: Unclog get my stubborn bathtub drain. Pulled put toys, hair, and other things from when work was done before I moved in. Previous owners left drain uncovered allowing the children's toys to clog the drain. Tub was filling up and would take over an hour to drain.

Description of Work: It was Memorial Day 2014, and my husband decided to take care of a plumbing matter which he had been procrastinating on for some months........this was a BIG mistake! The plumbing matter quickly turned into a "plumbing nightmare', my husband had to turn-off the water! The only thing left to do was to call a plumber......on a holiday, that means time and a half. I ended-up having to call three (3) plumbers, one said, "I can't do this work", another one called too late, but I know he would have come, just had other customers who called before I did. Pearson called me back, and a plumber was available right away. They came right out, and fixed what turned out to be a plumbing problem which could have ptentially flooded our basement. The plumber was pleasant and very capable! It was expensive, but reasonable for a holiday service call. Moral of this review, "Do not do any plumbing on a holiday if you do not absolutely know what you are doing"!

Description of Work: technician called to fix water conditioner. quoted repair price between $300 to $400. repair time about 30 min. at most. bill was $425 which was to be paid in full to technician. next week we received invoice which listed 2 parts with no itemized price and no labor cost per hour. called pearsons to ask about why no itemized bill and hourly charges. she said they don't give price of parts and charge for the job because they don't know when going into job how long it will take; some may be 11/2 hours or so. wasn't happy with that answer as our job was very quick. guess we paid for the lengthy job somewhere else. we wont call them again. lesson learned.

Description of Work: Had a problem with water heater....turned out to be ignition coil.............service man came within a couple of hours even tho it was Labor Day................he fixed it and reccomended replacing it. The serviceman came back a few days later and replaced the coil(another $400). We use Pearson for almost all of our problems involving HVAC and plumbing and have NEVER had a problem with them. They do tend to be a bit pricey, however.

Description of Work: I have an old wall hung toilet that was leaking. The plumber was able to stop the leaking by replacing a part. After a few days the toilet would not stop running. I called Pearsons back and they sent the plumber back out to the house. The part that he had replaced earlier was not working so we needed to order a whole new ballcock and flushbulb. The toilet has been working well ever since. I was especially pleased that the plumber took the time to explain that my having such an old toilet that is no longer made meant that it would be costly to replace, so the best solution would be to install the new parts. Pearsons located the part, ordered it and installed it in a timely fashion. I would call them again for any service I may need in the future.
