New Leaf Remodeling is a professional construction firm with two civil engineers and a design consultant on staff and more than 70 years combined design and construction experience. We give a warranty on all work and labor and offer a design studio to plan your projects. Our fully insured personnel are friendly and respectful, treating your home with the care it deserves.

Would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND. Requests to discuss significant concerns regarding our project went ignored and were only acknowledged after we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & IL Atty General due to some of their practices. Be aware of your rights and would strongly advise you to document all encounters and request all details be finalized in written documentation no matter how small it may seem at the time. Lastly, know your rights to request a Sworn Statement (A document that lists the contractors and suppliers that provide material or labor to a construction project. It includes information about who is owed money, how much they are owed, and the remaining balance on their contract.) Consider a contractor that will not turn an ear to hearing difficult concerns and will, instead, choose to address things head on in a professional manner versus have to fight to be heard.

IT'S A BEATIFUL FRONT PORCH: NEW Leaf has provided a Proposal and Contract signed by the Customer on a front porch project that is Beautiful and back porch that wouldn't be allowed by the county. All Issues were satisfied with BBB and the State of Illinois and no actions were taken. It was unfortunate that the County Zoning and planning board would not allow the rest of the project to move forward. All concerns were met by New Leaf and relayed to the customer mutiple times.

New Leaf installed the shower doors incorrectly and refused to correct the installation. I had to have the problem corrected at my expense. The contract required that the buyer approve the cost proposal for a change notice. I never received a cost proposal for a change notice and was overcharged. Unfortunately, a lawyer would have cost more than the overcharge.

Response from New Leaf Remodeling
When the customer brought up that the shower door was leaking, we corrected the issue. Then his issue became that his towel bar was too close to the toilet. Placement of the towel bar on the other door panel would've caused the door to not be functional. Customer did sign off accepting the installation of the shower door. A change order to do painting work was signed by the customer and work was performed. At a meeting the customer was told we were only going to charge what the painter charged us for the scope of work performed, which we did. The work was done by a professional painter at a reasonable cost for the scope of work.

It was a good deal. He was nice and polite and his partner was good. I would use them again.
Description of Work: Repaired cabinets, rotated an island for me, disconnected and reconnected the electrical and installed a counter top.
