went great! he was great to work with. he was really responsive about a maintenance issue on the door (just needed to lubricate). will use again!

Ed was there AGAIN w/ short notice. Spotted the problem (lubrication) and took care of it. He said it was nothing, but i told him his time was worth money and paid him some cash (for java & treats!!!!).

He is amazing! A bolt came out and he came and repaired that twice and didn't charge us. He comes out the same day. He's just really good.

We found Ed's Garage Door Service on Angie's List and called them for our repair. He replaced the rubber bumpers on both doors and also replace the side seal. We also purchased an extra garage door opener and he programed it for us. Mr. Spencer was very friendly, efficient and reasonably price! Our bill of $145.00 included the rubber bumper on our double and single garage door, a new side seal, a garage door opener and labor. VERY REASOMABLE! Oh! I forgot to say we have no more leaks!

Pros: 1) Quality of work 2) Beat a competitor price Cons: 1) His scheduling ability or lack there of. He's a 1-man company and seems to always be swamped. Rather than schedule an appt when I called, he would ask me to call him back the next day so he could let me know when and if he could make it. After completing the job he said I needed a new seal for the door which he would have to bring out the next week but never called me back. I made several phone calls asking him about it and he always postponed or asked me to call him the next day, until I finally just gave up. 2) He oiled several parts on the door and let the oil run down the inside of the door. He pointed it out and said "you may want to take a rag and wipe that up" which was like saying, hey I made big mess and you'll need to clean that up. 3) His truck leaked oil all over my driveway leaving several large spots. Overall, he's a nice guy and is the cheapest but lacks professionalism, punctuality and the ability to manage his time well.

My dad and quot;fixedand quot; the garage door, but somehow disabled the keypad, necessitating the call to Ed. We asked him to fix the keypad and program our car door openers. Lubing the garage doors was a bonus. It took a couple of phone calls to coordinate, but Ed gave us a Saturday appointment to accommodate our busy schedules. We have used Ed's Garage before, and he is our go-to for garage door service. He has always been friendly, professional, helpful, pleasant, and we are satisfied with his work.

We contacted Ed on August 1 about replacing bumper strip on our garage door. Since then Ed has made two appointments to come and do the work, neither of which he kept, nor did he call to say he would not be coming.

Couldnt have gone smoother, he came out, gave an estimate, special ordered the door and had it installed and finished for a very low price for a custom door!

He did a great job installing the door and he was extremely prompt. With all the snow this year the wood warped on the side and the magic eye wouldn't allow the door to close. We called him and he came within a half an hour and fixed the problem. He didn't charge us for the service call. I would highly recommend him.

He Replaced the hinge for free and suggested that the door would need to replaced soon. He left some information for me to look over. I will be replacing the door this spring, I will have Ed do the work

I called Ed on Saturday morning. He returned my call with in a few minutes. I asked if he would be able to fix a broken spring that day. He said he wouldn't but could come out in Sunday (something he doesn't usually do). I asked if I could call him back because I had called another company and was waiting to hear from them. The other company returned my call about an hour later and quoted me almost twice as much as Ed. I called Ed back and he said he could be out at 1 on Sunday. He arrived a little after 1 due to snow that had fallen overnight.He was very conscience about tracking snow through the house as that was the only way he could get to the garage. He was finished in a little over 1/2 hour at the price he quoted. I will recommend him to my neighbors and use him again.

Upon first visit, Ed, told me the plastic gear in my old (over 15 yrs.)garage door opener had been stripped. If he could find a replacement it would cost a third of what a new unit would cost. I went with the new and he said he would pick it up and do the install 1/2/14. Arrived at 10:30 a.m. and finished at 12:30 p.m. He explained how to work everything after he had me set my garage opener code for the remote. He was friendly, professional and down to earth. I really appreciated his prompt service, especially around the holidays. Would recommend him to others.

Ed cheerfully rescued our garage door situation from a failed DIY project (didn't even laugh when he discovered we had bought the wrong size door at a big box store). He ordered the correct door in a similar style and installed it on-time and as-promised. We found him to be easy to work with and very accommodating. He returned calls quickly and we would definitely use his services again.

It went really well. He did a good job. He came out the same day that I called and re-wired the door for me on a Sunday.

We called Ed after having problems with another garage door service company (Cropps). Ed came over the same day we called, diagnosed our problems and fixed them promptly. He put on the right size cable, fixed the rollers, and aligned the door. He was very nice and professional. After hearing all the problems we had with that other company, he didn't charge us at all. It was very refreshing after the bad experiences of late. We highly recommend Ed and will use him again, and you should too!

Called Ed on Tuesday afternoon, he returned my call Tuesday night, showed up Wednesday after I got off of work at 5:00pm. I had him look at the garage door and opener to make sure everything (seals, springs etc...) was in good working order before fall and winter. Ed said everything looked great. He also helped me with my key less entry pad and recoded another opener for me. Very knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. He is a very personable guy. I would highly recommend him and I will use his services in the future. T.W.

had a little problem with getting in touch, and he had a difficult time finding the right seal. he went out of his went out of his way to find the right seal for the door and seeing I will soon need a garage door opener replaced, I will call him again.

My garage door opener was an old model. A different company wanted to charge me $250 and replace the one I had. Ed's was out the same day, fixed the spring and did a GREAT job!! Highly recommended!!!

He said he would be here at 9:30a. Showed up at 9:30a. Since we have to go to work at 2:00, he said he would be done by 2:00. He was done at 1:00pm.

He did fine on installing the door opener, he was supposed to come back and put in new outdoor keypad. Never returned. Also called him to check out door opener in rental unit. Told me the plastic gear was striped out. Cost $125 to fix it. I said go ahead and fix it. Never came back. I think he knows his business but don't want to work.. Don't pay him till it is completed.

Ed was very professional and had an abundance of knowledge related to his job. He answered all of my questions. His price was competitive. When I thought I was having additional problems related to the same thing (even though I was wrong), he came again and adjusted the power/strength of the garage door opener without charging. I would highly recommend his service.

My experience overall went very well. He was punctual and highly responsive. He did a great job and even educated on some things about my garage door. I am very satisfied with the work completed.

his quote/estimate was reasonable. 1st time around we get both the garage door openers and the spring coil installed and got the out of plumb issue on the door partially fixed. he mentioned he will come back to complete the job on the out of plumb issue and install the brace that he found to be missing on the 2nd garage door. the only issue that we faced was to get him to come for the 2nd visit. he was 3 days late but then he didnt charge $20 for the braces he installed. The payment was made during the first visit itself so as a first time customer we were a bit nervous as the out of plumb issue was not resolved and we were worried of mice getting into the home. but as they say all that ends well is well, Ed was great he was able to resolve all our issues and went above expectations to resolve the brace issue.

Automatic garage door opener was not working . Door would not close . Called Ed at 6:00 p.m. Told him the problem and that I at least need to get the door closed for the evening . Ed came to the house within 1/2 hour of calling. He diagnosed the problem , and temporarily fixed the door. The next day, Ed came and replaced the spring on the door. His service was fast . Ed was courteous and efficient . Cleaned up afterwards. You couldn't tell that anyone had been there except that now the garage door works like new . I would highly recommend Ed for your garage door needs .

The quality is good. The price was fair. I would use them again.
