Dach Fence Co

The people at Dach Fence are terrific. They installed a driveway fence/gate for me. They were true to the estimate they gave me. They arrived on time, communicated well, and the finished product looks great! I would recommend them for any fencing project and would use them again myself. I'm 100% satisfied with their work.

First they put up the fence with the wrong side facing out which they said was ok since it was inside an existing chain link fence. The city inspector required them to take the fence down and put it up with the finished side out. It took them nearly a month to do this the second time after daily calls and finally had to go to their place of business to get them to come out. Then they didn't nail up all the cross supports nor all the fence boards, some where just jammed into place. After two more months of calls and visits to their place of business they came out and fixed that. Then the city inspector found out that they installed the fence too high off the ground so the top was higher than permitted. I had to cut the fence down myself to get it to the proper height, they never did show up to finish the job. Really bad experience.

I called Dach Fence and asked if somebody could quote me the cost to replace a broken 4" x 4" fence post that the county broke while mowing. I explained that the old post (which had a concrete base) would have to be dug up, and a new 8' post would need to be put in with post mix. I asked if they could come out at their convenience when they were in the area, and that I was not in a hurry to have the work done, but needed to reply to the county with the cost for them to approve the repair. The man I spoke with said that if they came out, I would probably tell the county the price they quoted, then collect the money for doing it myself. I informed him that if the county approved his quote, I would use his service to replace the post. I am speculating they must charge quite a bit for their service, because why would I waste my time doing it myself, when I could have somebody else do it at no expense to me?
