She had recommended them to other friends who were entirely satisfied with their work. We contacted them and subsequently hired them. Dan, Rob and Pam in the office were always easy to contact, helpful and clear as the process unfolded. The crew was industrious and extremely meticulous about covering landscaping and removing waste. The crew chief was just great and pridefully and clearly explained what was going on. The process and results could not have been better. We will hire Dan Cain Installations in the future for any tuck-pointing needs as well as basement window and well work.
Description of Work: Dan Cain and Rob visited our home, inspected our roof thoroughly inside and out, contacted an electrician to inspect and advise regarding cable connections from the pole to our home and two days later sent their estimate for a complete roof replacement. The electrician, Paul Long, also made a subsequent on site visit. We had another company make an estimate as well but despite the fact that they are an excellently rated and reputed company on Angie's List and larger than Cain Installations their inspection was not thorough, they never kept a follow-up appointment and their estimate for the job was very highly priced. Needless to say we hired Cain Installations. They replaced the entire roof which, consists of a contiguous garage, four-seasons and house roof, and professionally and expertly executed all the attendant processes. Their crew was superb and hardworking, Dan and Paul Long worked together to solve the electrical issue and Dan returned the following day for the completion of the job then inspected every aspect before calling it done.

+ -1 moreHad multiple estimates on the tile roof. From $35,000 to $15,000. Checked with people who had used Cain and got good reports. When the job was started, we knew some tiles would need to be replaced. Dan Cain found used ones made the same year and by the same company so the look was seamless. There were no up-charges or add-ons.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced red tile roof. This was not like a regular roofing job since the original tiles were being put back on after the 70-year old roofing paper was replaced. Accomplished in 4 days. Outstanding work. Have also used Cain Installations for regular roofing and gutter replacements on 3 other buildings. Excellent work, completed on time. Sometimes it is difficult to get a firm schedule to start, but once started the work is not delayed.
