About us

I have been a Licensed Plumber for 35 years and we have been in business as Birch Plumbing for over 23 years, specializing in solving plumbing issues. Licensed in Plumbing, Back-flow Inspections, Contractors, and Gas Piping. We charge a $50.00 trip fee for normal working hours M-F 8 A.M.-5 P.M. & $75.00 trip fee for emergency services after hours, non scheduled weekends and holidays. Our hourly rate is $100.00 per hour M-F 8 A.M.-5 P.M. & $150.00 per hour for emergency service after hours, non scheduled Saturdays and $200.00 per hour for Sundays and holidays. Clear Water Inspections run $50.00 per normal residence. Back-flow Inspections run $100.00 per valve. Remodels are priced out as a bid, or time & material. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover but charge a processing fee of 5%. Description of Work: i had a concern about a pipe that was leaking water into my basement. I called Birch and left a message. My call was returned the follwing day. I described my problem and the caller made a few suggestions for me to try prior to sending anyone out for a service call as he suspected this was a fairly simple fix. Turns out it was and I was able to locate and fix the problem myself at no charge. Thanks Birch!

Description of Work: Our water heater went out Friday evening. They came out on Friday evening. Unfortunately we needed a new one. They had a smaller one that could be installed on Saturday, but we chose to go with a bigger one and had to wait until Monday. They came first thing Monday morning to replace our other one. They did a good job.

Description of Work: Found a small puddle of water in the basement by some plumbing that I had someone else work on twice before. Decided to give Birch a try this time around. Called them in the morning. They were busy but they got to me later that same afternoon. Very professional, explained everything and even answered some other general plumbing questions for future reference. Took then less than an hour and cleaned up before they left. The area looked cleaner than before. Would definitely call them again if I have other problems.

Description of Work: Steve and his crew are always curtious and prompt. I had broken a fitting on our whole house filter when changing the cartige. went very well.
Description of Work: Called them on Thur. 8-17-12 and they came out on Mon.8-20-12, as I was not home before that. They replaced the thermo coupler on my water heater and made more ventilation for pilot to ignite. very happy with the service, and will call them again in future.
