The kitchen designer was fine--he was personable, listened to our ideas and was able to fulfill nearly all of what we wanted to do in a relatively small kitchen. The execution of the design was not as successful. The installer, who was actually a very likeable fellow, did well with cabinet install and plumbing, but did not seem to be familiar with electrical code for a kitchen, and when our kitchen TV was plugged in, it fried our rooftop satellite and quot;as though hit by lightningand quot; according to the satellite repair person. We spent $1000 more bringing the electrical work up to code with an electrician we had worked with before. The install crew did not possess a broom or a vacuum, and used our good floor cleaning bucket from the basement to collect some type of sludge from the drain pipes. When discovered, it took a good hour to scrub it out so that it was usable again. Now that we have some distance from this experience, we like our kitchen, but would we do it again? No.

We had purchased a double sink vanity top and a single sink vanity top at a big box store. We decided to check out Andco. The price they quoted was $800.00 cheaper than the box store and it included delivery and installation. I went back to the box store and asked to cancel my order. (they had not been shipped to the store yet). They charged me $450.00 restocking fee. (I'll never shop there again!!) Andco came out and measured everything. They arrived on time and 2 gentlmen installed the vanity tops and sinks. They caulked everything and cleaned everything up when they were done. They did an excellent job and it looks beautiful. The granite vanity tops included the sinks (3) and all the back and side splashes. We got to pick the edging that we wanted. I highly recommend Andco and would definately use them again. Stay away from the box store that starts with an M.

They had reasonable prices and we got the kind of kitchen we wanted. Sometimes we had to ask to find out what was happening. They always called us back when we called them but sometimes we didn't get the information offered to us until we called them.
