We are grateful to have found Midwest Complete Construction to replace our roof including the flat roof for our front porch. We have solicited a total of 7 bids before signing up with Midwest Complete Construction. (1) High quality of work with competitive price The crew has done a meticulous job cleaning up the old planks (vintage house), covering with new OSB, and installing new shingles. The completion of flat roof was equally well done. The post-installation clean-up is spotless so that one would not even know that the crew was there. Meanwhile, in light of the competitive pricing, we believe the company has provided highly value added services. (2) Transparent and timely communication Phillip is our project manager. He always keeps us posted of every step of the process: before, during, and after the project. Especially, we were on a tight schedule to get the roof done before getting approved by our insurer for continuation of insurance coverage (by the way, be aware of some insurance companies who randomly pick on homeowners and give short notice) . Phillip understood our predicament, put our interest at his priority, and worked around the complexity of project management to ensure our roofing to be completed before the deadline. He is also very knowledgeable about the structure of the vintage house in general which put us at ease. We highly recommend Midwest Complete Construction and, especially, you will enjoy working with Phillip if he happens to be your project manager.

Would highly recommend Midwest construction. We had them do a roof, soffits, gutter and a very large deck. Stayed pretty close to the agreed upon price with just a few hiccups along the way with our deck. Phil the project manager is extremely friendly and kept us informed as much as possible. Happy with their work and all the people involved we’re courteous and did a nice job of cleaning up after each project was complete.

I had the good fortune to hire Midwest Complete Construction for a roof replacement (through a friend's recommendation). Phil, the salesman who I had initial contact with, and spoke with throughout the project, was one of the reasons that I went with them. He really impressed me when he came out to our house to give us an estimate. He was honest and very kind in explaining everything that would transpire if we decided to use his company. We received several bids during this time and decided that Midwest Complete offered everything that we were looking for in a roofing contractor. Phil was very patient in answering any questions that we had, and as job foreman, he also oversaw his crews' work. The crew was fantastic and everyone worked very, very, hard. It took just one day to complete the job! Needless to say, we were very happy with Phil, the crew, and everyone else from the company that we interacted with. We are having Midwest Complete Construction out again to work on a second job (helping us with some of our siding issues). If I could give this company something more than 5 stars, I would.

Absolutely awesome job, they went above and beyond to make sure our problem was solved and in a timely manner.

It was nearly a year later that the repairs to the work they did were "complete." We had rippling in our shingles in several places. I was told repeatedly that it would be taken care of and not to worry. On several occasions I was told workers would be there to fix the job and no one showed. I had to text and/or call many times to find out the status of my job. Not one person I spoke to asked me if I was satisfied with the work. The work was ultimately finished but it was a great big headache. There was absolutely no customer service follow-up. I do not recommend this company in any way.

My husband called them. They came out to give us an estimate. We were told that they wouldn't have to replace the entire floor, that the could match the existing flooring. Seemed nice, professional. We had used them before for a roof replacement. So we emptied the room, moved furniture for them. But what should have been a 2-3 day job lasted for over 3 weeks. The first day they came and ripped up a small section of the floor, replaced a small part of the subfloor and took out the door and put plywood up. They weren't even here for 4 hours. They didn't come back for 2 days. The next time they were here they put the door in. Again, not even here for 3 hours. It took multiple days for them to come back. We called them at least 5 times, and sent many text messages before we got any reply. They finally came back to replace the flooring. Then they called my husband and told us that they couldn't match the existing floor and would have to replace the whole floor. Of course it would be more money. Again they left, came back a couple days later to tear up the rest of the flooring. It was at least a week before they came back to put the new floor down. Now the trim around the floor is coming off. The glue they used to adhere it to the wall isn't what should have been used. They came out and looked at it. Said they would have to screw it in and then they left without finishing it. This has been another 2 week process. We have been told that someone would be out to fix it 3 times and no one has showed up. This has been common throughout the entire job. They are suppose to come out tomorrow to fix it. We will see.
