Description of Work: Removed 2 large trees and 1 shrub tree. Excellent work on the tree removal and cleanup but when it comes to stump removal very poor. It is more stump skimming not stump removal. They only removed the top 2 inches and departed. Thus causing me additional problems with paving contractor and foundation crew. They had to finish the job before they could start.

+ -1 moreAfter the storm in the QC area a lot of people had tree problems. A huge oak tree had come down on my house and had taken 2 or 3 trees with it. My home is very difficult to negotiate around. Power lines, close quarters and the potential for more damage to the house by removing the tree, did not make this job an easy one. I called in the early afternoon and got a quick phone call back. In times like this, people have to understand he is working on a priority basis. Anything dangerous he is going to take care of those people first ! That is a business that cares about it's customers !! I was very lucky that he was able to see the danger to my home and was able to complete the work in one day. That is very carefully removing this huge heavy oak tree off my house and then cleaning up afterwards. The crew even made sure that the truck did not interfere with our neighbors power and cable lines. All of his crew are very nice .. very professional and very hard working ! I have had trouble with my homeowners insurance... I had trouble with other tree companies not returning phone calls or thought that my job was too difficult for them. NOT Hyme's !!! They made this terrible accident seem like it never happened. I would not only recommend them but I have already told them I want them to come back in the fall to trim back more of my trees ! GREAT JOB !!!

I reached an answering service and spoke to an actual human being, rather than a voice mail like the other two services I tried. On the second call I told the person who answered that it was my second call and I had not had response from the first call.

Description of Work: I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I would give Hyme's and A+ for service, responsiveness and professionalism. We had 4 big trees removed, one with snow/wind storm damage that were all close to our neighbors property line and house. They were careful and conscientous in how each tree came down. No damage was done to either the neighbors property or to even the few arborvitae that I had in between. They cleaned up all the debris, shredded and hauled everything away. Within a few hours time they had everything back to prisitine conditions.. I was impressed, also that they contacted the gas and electric to take down our main line for time while they cut down one of the trees and to mark the underlying gas lines--for the stump removal. Such thoroughness! They exceded our expectations and would highly recommend this nice young man's busness to anyone wanting a fair price and a well done job! If I had any more trees, I would call them again in a heartbeat. Well done Hymes, Well done..
