+ -1 moreNot well. Would appreciate just being told up front if he was not interested in bidding the job. Which comes as a surprise as he sounded so anxious when we initially spoke. About 30 minutes after calling them and getting an answering machine, we recvd a phone callf from "the Mrs". She stated "they had company" and that was the reason her husband did not call us back and also added she would sue us for slander if we reported anything other than the fact that Mike had not returned our calls. Nice. I would like to add that if we had not been promised a quote by Sunday and then told would get a call when he returned from the grocery store, I would not be writing this. It's all about a promise that was not kept. Plain and simple. Of the 6 contractors we called for estimates, only 2 were disappointing.
Description of Work: On 7/1/11 I called this provider looking for a mason to lay brick for a patio. I had called this number in the morning and left a message. I received a call back in the early afternoon from "Mike". Said they were leaving in 10 minutes on vacation but he was very interested in providing my requested estimate. He sounded very nice, and very anxious at that time. We went over in detail the job. Gave him measurements. He stated if his wife would allow him, he would work on the estimate while on vacation and call us. I didn't expect a call during that time and was not disappointed when he did not call. He did state that they would return on Sunday (7/10/11) and would get back in touch with us "probably Sunday night". He never called. Today is 7/13/11 and I still had not heard from him. I called the number, his wife answered and her response to him not getting back to us when he said he would was "things were just happening". She told me he was at the grocery store and would call when he returned. He never called. I tried calling again at 9pm and got the answering machine. "nuff said".....
