Description of Work: I bought a deal on Angies list for a couple hours of service. I added another two hours to complete a couple patching jobs: ceiling cracks, water damaged plaster repair, and other miscellaneous patching jobs. The workers were timely, efficient and clean. I would call them again for additional work.

 + -1 moreI felt like this contractor would be a good choice but needed to go with someone else because of pricing/timing. He was thorough in his evaluation of the work to be done although a little slow getting the estimates back to me it took a week and a half, but he was busy so I understand why and I did ask him to price it two ways. I would consider hiring him for other projects as he was very well rounded and seemed to know his stuff.

I had wanted quotes for 2 types of material, and he only provided one. We ended up selecting another contractor we've used on other projects to complete the deck.

 + 0 moreJim came over and we discussed my ideas for a wood deck to be built in my backyard. He provided several options and gave me a ballpark cost estimate. A few days later, he mailed a formal written proposal for the deck construction. While I was waiting for the appropriate approvals from my Homeowners Association and the Village Hall, Jim purchased the materials so he would be ready to start once we had the "green light." We had a slight communication gap about picking up the permits, but it was quickly resolved. Once started, I observed Jim and his team working very diligently all day. They did not juggle several jobs at once...I definitely knew they were solely focused on my project. Despite a power outage during the 3rd day of work, Jim still met his deadline which was great. Overall, I am very pleased with my deck - - it's well-built, secure, and looks great! I've received many compliments from friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: JT Contracting designed and built a 12' x 19' wooden deck that was added onto the back of my townhome over a small, existing patio. The floor of the deck was laid diagonally and a hinged gate was installed. The base of the deck to the ground was completed with lattice all the way around.

Quotes were professional, and spelled everything out with all details. Very knowledgeable about options and suggestions. Cleaned up after themselves every day. Also best bids I got of 4-5 contractors.
Description of Work: Expanded a cedar deck by tripling size, installed laundry utility tub, repaired chutes dryer vent, installed gas line from house for BBQ grill hook-up.
