Both of the jobs done by JT Contracting were done in a professional and timely manner - especially since both projects had some setbacks due to some unforeseen problems. Our repairs were done in a professional manner, and we are looking forward to working with Jim and his crew on some other projects I would highly recommend this company for any and all of your home construction needs, and look forward to working with them again.

I work with many contracors that I give business to. I've reached out at least 3 times to schedule work. Seems job might be too small. Did not hear back.

Great! The indoor work involved ceiling and closet drywall replacing and painting - it's perfect. Can't tell there was ever a problem. Pricing was fair and overall experience was very good.

Good communication, scheduling time, arrival, and service. The ceiling looks great - popcorn ceiling repair and painting is not easy.

Poor service. Contractor claimed they can't park their car, so instead of 2 people working for 90 mins each, they said one person will stay in the van and the other will work for 90 mins. They then went on to charge us an extra $55 because 90 mins wasn't enough time.

I tried several times to set up a date for the repair. The day of the repair I got a call which said that the repairman's previous job was taking longer than expected and had to cancel the appointment. Although disappointing this can happen. I have been attempting to re-schedule the repair man with no call backs. I would like a refund. Please

It went very well. You can not tell that there were any cracks in the wall.

Jim and his crew are knowledgeable and courteous and are willing to discuss all aspects of your project, throughout the process. You can expect to be updated as to the progress of the project and the work to be completed in a timely manner. Jim takes great pride in the quality of his work ...he is a craftsman and isn't satisfied with his work unless or until the customer is. Take the worry and uncertainty out of hiring a general contractor by discussing your project--large or small--with Jim. We enjoyed working wit him to achieve the results we had envisioned and are more than pleased with his efforts.

Process was simple and easy. Jim was very communicative. The end result is not great, not awful. There are some flaws that are very noticeable but we feel it's not worth it to get resolved.

They had to work a lot longer than estimated due to damage to ceiling but kept the cost close to original estimate. Decent people.

We had an existing deck that needed replacing. We chose composite rather than wood for its low maintenance. Jim was very thorough in researching the types of composite and what would be best for our deck. When he and his crew took the old decking material off, they discovered rot and damage that was caused partly because the initial contractor did not follow the plans that were submitted for the permit. Jim fixed all the problems and added extra supports to make it far safer and sturdier than it was before. We had to pay extra costs associated with this additional work, but it was worth it. I was very impressed at the professionalism, care, and concern that went into the overhaul they ended up doing. Jim explained to me what they were doing at every step, and he kept us informed when there were delays. He was pleasant and professional. The resulting new deck feels much better and looks great. I would definitely recommend Jim and his crew.

They did a bad job. They showed up on time and did it very quickly. I took pictures of how they did the work and it was pretty bad. I would never recommend them. They were nice people but when they left and when I looked up the quality, it was quite disappointing after I paid thousands of dollars. I had to redo some of the work. Jim, the owner, thought I was someone he could fool. The prices that he gave me were really high and I didn't realize it because I didn't know enough after one property where they did the work. After I told them to go ahead and do the job, I told them I had another property that I had a question about. When we got there, he told me that it would cost $800 to replace the door. I knew right there that he was overcharging me more than double because I had previous estimates. I had a bump in the ceiling where he said taking it out would be $350. I just laughed at that but the people were already working at the first property. I did not say anything about the first place but I did not hire him for the second property. The final cost on the door replacement was $300 and he evened out the bump in the ceiling at $400. That's when I realized he got me good on that other unit. The drywall job, which involving patching up the walls, cost me over $2000 all together. He said that it was so bad and I needed to do that or the other but really none of that got done. He was dishonest and took advantage of me. He did a bad job and I have pictures to back up what I say. I would suggest to know pricing before asking for an estimate. I would supervise them constantly to make sure that the quality is acceptable.

JT was very professional. He did a great job. We didn't like how a small portion was finished. When we told him, he was quick to address it and come up with a creative solution we were happy with. We would definitely recommend him and use him again.

I was surprised how quickly they were able to come out and do the repair. They responded quickly to calls/emails. 2 guys came out to do the work. It took a little longer than specified in the "deal" but they let me know what the additional cost would be. They did a fantastic job. You would never know we had a problem there.

This team did a wonderful job. They were courteous and came in ready to work. They were very quick and efficient with their work. Both members worked simultaneously on two different bathrooms. Got the job done exactly to my specifications. Moreover, they pointed out some minor problems and fixed those as well without telling me this and that or charging more. I was extremely impressed and would definitely use this group again for other around the home projects.
