They were fine. We didn't have much work to do and they did a nice job. They were maybe going to install some shelves but they didn't feel comfortable doing it and they never called back. They were competent.

The contractor wanted me to take pictures and send them to him. He did not want to come to our house to inspect the situation. He expected me to move all of the furniture, and that is not physically possible for me. A customer service representative from Angie's List was kind enough to find a more compatible drywall repair person for us, and we substituted one deal for the other.

We really enjoyed working with the company. We had 6 recessed lights installed in our living room ceiling. Since we bought a deal, the plaster repair was not included in the scope of work. So we bought a deal with JT and couldn't be happier. It was easy to schedule the work and they did a fantastic job in a short amount of time. It looks like the lights have been there forever and the ceiling looks great. If only they could do all of my walls! I would definitely hire them again.

Everything when well- no complaints!

Never had drywall repair done before. After I purchased the "deal" I was informed it was $115 for 1 person working 4hrs. Since 2 people would be working at this job it would be for 2hrs. I would be billed regular time (for each person) after the 2hrs. As for the price, I guess it was all even because they didn't bill me separately for materials. However, they made it clear they were on the clock. When I asked how much it would cost to do another job, one kept working on the current job alone while the other spent time...figuring out the cost. I would not have minded had they told me the price but they never got back to me. That is why I will not asked them to do another job. As for the job, the ceiling was still low at other places. That is what I was getting pricing about. I ended up doing that myself. As I was screwing the ceiling up to the studs screws they used to repair the ceiling started to come through the drywall. However the seam they repaired never came apart. It also never showed signs of being repaired.

We purchased the Deal for $115.00. They contacted me promptly to schedule. Per their request, I sent them photos of the work to be completed. After they got here, they told my husband it would take more coats and more time so they'd need to charge us another $110.00. We're now waiting to see if the crack reappears or if their patch job fixed the problem.

I was happy with it and would hire them again.

The work was fine. They did what I asked them to do. Everything went great. They replied immediately after I purchased the Big Deal and got the work done within a couple of days.

They were prompt. They were very thorough and professional. I plan on using them again.

While the contractors were a couple of hours late, they did an excellent job at a great price. They were also friendly and nice.

This job required 2 days and two men. Most of the repairs occurred the first day. Second day was sanding. Both men were competent and worked quickly. They were informative when questioned. I appreciate that because I like to watch and learn. I had to pay more for two men, but it was a big job and I thought it was worth it.

The repairs were completed in a professional manor. After the repair the area repairs blended perfectly with the surrounding drywall. It was ready for painting.

The man who came was prompt and very nice. He fixed what I asked him to, and did a good job of it.

Two men arrived early! I showed them the two ceiling areas that had already been patched/repaired, and they went right to work. Amazingly, it took them almost exactly 2 hours to complete the job ~ perfect. They used their own materials when they could, which saved us about $25 in painting supplies.

Richard and Chuck did a great job. I would definitely hire JT contracting to do work in the future and would ask for these two guys again. They are easy to work with and do a very professional job.

Punctual, explained the work ahead of time and provided an estimate as to timing. They were pleasant, professional and cleaned up well after the work was completed. Will definitely recommend and use the company again.

The painting went well Courtesy and prompt. However, follow up was poor or not at all. Asked for estimate in bath and no one ever came or called even after I called them.

Everything was done on time. They did a very basic job.

Hard worker, He was professional and ontime

We purchased a Big Deal to have our shower professionally cleaned and re-caulked. They did a fabulous job - well worth it. The shower looks great, and many months later it is still holding up. They also caulked the kitchen sink, and that was also done very well. We would definitely hire them again. Our only issue was with pricing because they charged us extra for the kitchen sink and my husband was a little confused about the extra cost. Not sure who was at fault here, but they did a great job and we will definitely ask them back for another job in the near future.

I bought a $99 coupon to do some patching on my garage wall. I had to reschedule a couple of times due to delays in work being done on my garage. Jim was understanding. Once his workers arrived, I was told that the coupon didn't cover that kind of work and that it would be an additional $150 dollars. They didn't have drywall so I had to go buy a sheet and get back within the an hour or they were going to charge me even more. Fortunately I was quick enough that no additional fee was added on top. They did an okay job but it was very expensive. When you get a coupon, make sure they do more than fill nail holes! I guess the coupon was for patching nail holes or light spackling.

The paint job was very good, the work was done within a reasonable amount of time, and the painters were very courteous and friendly. I felt like my money was well spent.

The quality of the work was great. And it was easy to get in touch with them via Angie's List messages. The "B" is not because I spent more than $115 (the cost of the original deal for 4 hours of work) -- it's a reflection of the process, which might be a bit of a weak spot in the Angie's Deal process altogether (which is why I still give JT Contracting an overall "A"). We didn't have a consultation ahead of the actual day of work and probably should have. In hindsight, I should have asked to have someone come and take a look at the walls first before we scheduled the actual work, so I could be prepared for what the actual cost would be. As it was, I sent pictures and got a cost estimate based on three hours of work -- it ended up needing four hours of work and so I had to have a check on hand for that extra amount, which I wasn't 100% prepared for. So, I would say overall that it was a positive experience and worth the money. I'd just recommend for those scheduling future projects to try to get an in-person consultation before the actual day of labor.
