We have had them do a lot of plumbing work for us over the years. The work went on very well and also solved our problem. They are quick in responding to your phone calls. They are timely and call us when they are going to be late. They are very respectful and knowledgeable. They clean up the mess that they make. The guy who came out to get the work done was very honest too. I have had a good experience with them. I will use their services in the future as well.

They are one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Used them on two occasions and was extremely satisfied.

The installation went well. I have not had to have it "tested" yet. I feel comfortable about this job and the workers were friendly.

Forte was very responsive when I called and able to set up a time within 3 days for non-emergency work. We had a bit of a glitch on the first scheduled day - the jobs earlier in the day ran long and so Forte didn't show up until 6 pm, which was several hours beyond the estimate. We rescheduled for the following week. Two plumbers showed on time and split the work. The senior plumber talked me out of some additional work that I ran by him, stating that it would be better to wait until we did a more extensive rehab - his reasoning made sense. The work was completed quickly and without a hitch. I'd use them again for more extensive work, when the time comes.

Great - will use them for any future plumbing issues.

Very well. The young man was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to replace the toilet and fix the leak behind the shower wall in a very reasonable amount of time.

They did an excellent job and the cost was much less than we anticipated.

Forte had rodded one of our sewer lines 2 1/2 years ago. When we had trouble after the terrible September flooding in the Chicago suburbs, we called them again. As we expected, they were overwhelmed with requests for work, but scheduled as soon as they could. Two men came out and rodded the line from the catch basin to the alley, the line that had traditionally been the biggest problem, pretty much per my faulty diagnosis. After they left, there was still a problem. As busy as they were, they came back late that afternoon and rodded from the catch basin to the house, but when they tried to rod the main/toilet line, the rod couldn't make it around a turn 3 or 4 feet in. As soon as they could, 4 or 5 days later, they came back with Carmen Forte and a sewer camera to try to determine why. They couldn't quite tell where the problem was and broke up a small section of the concrete basement floor. That wasn't where the problem was (on a later visit they re-cemented this section), they concluded that they had to dig outside the house and replace a section of (likely collapsed) sewer line, and that replacement was not going to be done until the subsequent Monday, again 4 -5 days later because of all the flooding and their previously scheduled appointments. On Monday morning Mr. Carmen Forte arrived with three men who worked for six or seven hours, finally solving this problem. The next day two of them returned with crushed stone to fill the hole. By the way, while still scoping out the excavation job, Mr. Forte advised me of possible damage anticipated to the neighbor's hostas. In the meantime, I spoke to my neighbor who was not very concerned about it. As it turned out, before they began digging the trench, they dug up the hostas in danger and carefully put them aside, at the end of the job, they themselves re-placed them. Did I mention they cleaned up at the end, too?

Bathroom tub drain clogged and the drain pipe became loose which caused water to come through the ceiling below. Forte came out that morning to address the problems. They cleared the drain as well as repair some pipe work to stop the leaking of water that had occurred. Good experience but since I lived out of their normal area I faced a minimum charge of $120 for whatever occurred that day. I would suggest using them again if you live in their area but if not, try to find another plumber - it'll be less expensive.

We have not yet placed an order due to some other unexpected expenses, but we are strongly considering Forte Plumbing in the near future.

I called Forte mid-day after I had located a plumbing supply shop that carried our esoteric brand of faucet. I was thrilled when Dave said that he could do the job that afternoon. He arrived promptly and was able to install the cartridge in the faucet even though part of the mounting of the supposedly high-quality faucet had disintegrated. I had thought that the entire faucet might have to be replaced. The faucet now works more smoothly than ever. He and his helper left no mess at all.

Overall it went well. The plumber had to return to fix one faucet handle that was leaking but he returned the very next day and fixed it at no charge.

Dave and a helper arrived on time, quickly determined the problem, cleaned out the pipe and emptied a laundry tub of water to verify it had cleared. However, when my wife washed clothes later that night, water backed up from the floor drain. They were closed over the weekend, but came out Monday morning, cleared the pipe again with a larger knife and all was well. Seems there was a pipe sleeve or something in the pipe that the smaller knife had just run down the middle. Dave apologized for not having picked it up the first go-round.

I had the sump pump, but they installed it. Good job.

The proof will, of course, be in the pudding. Nevertheless, on the face of it: Excellent in returning calls; they were too busy at first even to estimate the job (we had been told by two others that we needed nearly $3,000 worth of backyard digging and sewer line replacement), but got back to us the beginning of the following week. Very professional in all aspects;when asked, even managed not to kill garden flowers near the sewer opening. I dealt with Robert Forte; he confirmed what the cost of replacement might be but strongly recommended rodding and scoping first. He and another plumber were here for almost two hours; we examined the length of the sewer line after they were done rodding and concluded that it looked fine--at least average--and not apparently in need of replacement. Highly recommended. The other plumbers who had been here in the past about every two years had lesser equipment; more importantly, their assessment was for $3,000 worth of apparently unnecessary work.

I'VE HAD EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM THEM. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND ON THE SAME DAY, WERE VERY PROMPT. HIS PRICE IS REASONABLE AND THEY GIVE VERY GOOD SERVICE.
