. One of his contacts has said that Eric Nelson is a liar and a shady character. He told us that he is a retired Chicago policeman and we found out that he never was a policeman. Months of Eric Nelson's lies and delays has made me a nervous wreck. His contact Patty Stranski of Elmwood Park told us said she and her husband were friends of Eric Nelson at one time and no longer are. this is how I know all his lies are verified lies and that Eric Nelson was never a policeman. However, we found out this info just recently. Also, it took him over 4 months to get the entire demolished bathroom out of our garage (toilet and mirror is still there) He kept saying he needed a dumpster. When actually he used his truck to take some of the stuff away after 4 months in our garage. He was also verbally abusive to his workers, which one was his brother. I thought his was very demeaning to me, Angie Cullen, when I would tell him the colors I wanted in my bathroom. He is a irresponsible and ignorant person. I would gladly talk to someone on the phone about him. Please get back to me on this issue. I very possibly left something out. He has our money and I want it back. What can I do. If he claims bankruptcy we are at a loss of a lot of money. Please, advise. Thank you Angie Cullen

He came and put saw horses around it to protect it. He gave us an estimate to repair it. We gave him half of the money. We have not seen him since. He returned a couple of our calls but he does not return any of our calls now. Two weeks ago he said that if he does not do the work in the next week he would return the check so we could fine someone else for the job. I later found out he said he got the permits (back in November), so I called the town center and they said he didn't have a permit. They asked why we used them and they informed me he had gone under several different company names.
