I was told by a different HVAC company that I needed a new electric furnace - my electric furnace is 11 years old. I called Marvin. He came out - my thermostat was set at 69 and the room temp was 85. Marvin found a gixmo in my furnace that needed replacing and I needed a new thermostat. Marvin saved me from buying a new furnace - he saved me over $3000.00 When ANYTHING goes wonky with my furnace, Marvin will get a call - he is thourough, professional, and a great value for senior citizens !

My furnace quit the Friday before New Years Day. Marvin Wooten was suggested by Home Advisor and accepted my request to repair my furnace. He arrived in a timely manner and did a temporary fix to get me heat as this was one of the coldest days of the year. I forgot to mention the furnace is 36 years old. He tracked down the required part and returned to install it, There was a problem with the new part not being completely compatible with the old furnace. He worked most of the day Friday, but could not get the new part to work. We went back to the temporary fix and Marvin said he would return the next day. He did some research that evening and when he returned Saturday, he got the new part to work and I now have a furnace that is running like new, considering it is 36 years old. Marvin was friendly, professional and followed through on what he said he would do. I whole heartedly recommend Marvin as the person to go to when there is a problem with a furnace. I will use him if I have future needs.

Marvin was very responsive and was able to attend to our problem in less than 2 hours - an appropriate interval given our severity level. He did immediately jump to what appears to be the correct diagnosis, but I needed to press him a bit to confirm that there was no sign of a systematic disorder (I.e. simply check the pressure in the system, since the pressure valve was what had busted). However, he was correct and it was simple a busted pressure valve. He did a good job and provided great service.

I highly recommend him to anybody in my location. I like that he explained everything where I could understand the terminology and made it real simple and clear. Compared to other contractors he was very fair priced and reasonable. He would call ahead of time and had great communication.
