 + -1 moreI wish I could list everything that was messed up, it would conservatively number in the hundreds. The punch list at move in was nearly that long. When we tried to have the punch list items repaired, many of them were made worse by their poor workmanship. We finally had to hire outside contractors to do the work right because it just wasn't worth having them come out to screw it up. We are just one example of the KLM experience. Many other people in our neighborhood had the same problems during their construction. All my wife and I can say is stay away from KLM Builders like the plague. Sure their models look great, but they have to in order to sucker you in to buy one.
Description of Work: KLM built our new home. I can't imagine a home builder any worse than KLM Builders. There is no conceivable way to cover all of the problems that we have had during the construction of our new home. Nearly every contractor from the flooring to the roofing made glaring mistakes during each phase of construction. The best way to describe their work is "Very Sloppy". KLM claims to be a semi-custom builder, although many of the changes asked for during our pre-construction meeting were not done to the home until I noticed them missing. After observing the poor quality of the work in the beginning, I was forced to have to come out nearly everyday to check to make sure it was done right. It was a good thing I did, or their mistakes would have been hidden behind drywall. The site superintendent and his assistant only made excuses for all the mistakes.
