We can't say enough about how delighted we were with not only the results of our total kitchen remodel, but the experience of working with Mike, Ryan and Jared. From our very first contact, they were reliable and responsive, answering all texts and calls promptly and keeping appointments punctually. They offered ideas but were also highly respectful and responsive to ideas we presented, always saying "We can make that happen!", even when we had some really out-there requests like cutting a whole section of cabinets out around our 100 year old laundry chute and installing a stained glass window! Ryan and Jared are superb carpenters; their work is beautiful and they pay careful attention to detail. Best of all they are both extremely polite and pleasant, which really matters when someone is in your home every day for several weeks. They had our kitchen completely demolished down to the plaster and back to being a functioning kitchen in just 4 weeks , including significant plumbing and electrical repairs and upgrades , as well as delays in shipping of a replacement for a damaged cabinet (not their fault!) and our new window. They have well-established relationships with a number of local subcontractors and vendors who are equally reliable and skilled, so the project moved along without any other delays. We would hire them without question to do other work on our home!

The job done was exactly what we wanted. It was a remodel of an old deck and it looks great. The contract agreement was flexible to work with our needs and the quality of the workmanship was amazing. Very friendly and professional organization.

Kodiak provided an estimate that was accurate and fair. They kept me informed as to when the project would be done, arrived on time and finished on schedule. The workers were polite, competent and did the work appropriately. I'd highly recommend this company and I'd use them again for sure. The project required building a stud wall, hanging a pre-hung door and insulating the wall.

This was our first experience in utilizing Kodiak Improvements and it definitely will not be our last; we already have other projects in mind for them. They are fantastic!! Mike, Jared, and Ryan began our privacy fence construction on a Tuesday and were all done by midday on Thursday. Their prices are reasonable, their work ethic is outstanding, and the fence looks exceptionally beautiful; very professionally done. Couldn't be more pleased and we highly recommend them to others. Having lived in this area for 26 years, we've had many experiences with businesses that did not deliver services within a timely basis but this is not the case with Mike and his talented crew. They showed up on time, and worked very hard to complete the work quickly.

The team did a wonderful job on our bathroom remodel and fireplace tiling. The quality of the work is outstanding and the customer service made the entire process a pleasure. Jared and Ryan were professionals in all senses of the word. Their attention to detail, consistent communication, and flexibility left me assured we were in good hands.

The contractors did an excellent job. They arranged to do the work quickly, followed through on everything promised, and did terrific work. We were impressed with the completed job and the experience of working with Kodiak -- would hire again. We wholeheartedly recommend.

After talking to a few other contractors, we decided to hire Kodiak to gut and remodel our kitchen. Working with Mike, Jared, and Ryan couldn't have been a better experience for this generally confused and anxious home owner who'd never hired out for something like this before. Mike was great on the business side, and stuck to what he said, and was very direct and upfront about what was and wasn't feasible, and he and Rob from Cabinet Land put together a great looking floor plan that works much better for us. Jared and Ryan were on time every day, bright eyed, bushy tailed, and ready to go without complaint or excuse. They were very easy to discuss the project with, and were quick to ask questions instead of assuming. They were also very gracious in letting me; the curious, interested, and probably at times obnoxious homeowner be curious, interested, and at times, probably obnoxious. Jared also installed ridge vents in my attic, and a new back storm door. All that being said, I couldn't be happier with Kodiak and their work, and will definitely hire them for future projects.

Excellent work was done by Mike, Jared, and Ryan of Kodiak Improvements, Inc. They are a lean, efficient team of professionals who delivered what they quoted. For items that weren't part of the quote but needed replacement, they were upfront and I never felt that I was caught by surprise. They were honest, thorough, and very skilled and their work shows it.

I found Mike Durst and his crew at Kodiak very honest, straightforward, and true to their word. At first I thought I would only remodel our existing master bath/laundry area to give it a facelift and make better use of space for storage. When they came out to look at the project I indicated I really had hoped to add a shower too, but a previous vendor's quote was so high, I thought it was outside what I was willing to spend. Mike Durst said he'd give me the quote two different ways - with shower and without shower. Once I added up their labor and what all the costs for materials would be, I decided to add the shower. And am so glad I did. Wish I could share photos with you all. My bathroom is beautiful and I've been waiting 23 years to do this. I would hire them again, but one thing I would do differently is make them help me more picking out all the materials and scheduling delivery dates. I had no idea what hardware would work with the shower kits and the one I ordered was complicated. The plumber was a bit overwhelmed. I would have also liked to have known they didn't prefer working with Lowes compared to Menards. I guess Lowes customer service wasn't too accommodating when they dropped by to pick up vanity, faucets, etc. I had ordered online. I would have gladly ordered from Menards. And thinking back, I would have waiting until I returned from vacation to have them get started instead of having them work on the project while I was on vacation. Then we could have communicated a bit more about things that popped up. But I am so pleased with the end result.

All the guys at Kodiac we’re very professional and caring towards the wants and needs of my project. I had several windows installed in a very short amount of time. They were here every day on time and worked very efficiently to get my windows installed quickly. The product is amazing. I’ve been able to turn my heat down 4 degrees after the install. The windows look excellent and all my trim was put back perfectly. The price was the best I could find out there and I did plenty of research. They came buy took measurements said we would get a quote and never heard back from them. So they are unreliable

Submitted a request for a quote from Angie's List and we heard from them a couple of weeks later to tell us that they were so backed up with work from the hail storm that they wouldn't be able to get to us for months and he recommended another company that might be able to get to us in a more timely manner. REALLY APPRECIATE their level of professionalism to admit they wouldn't be able to meet our needs in a timely manner and that they were willing to recommend someone else. They really respected our time, didn't lead us on, and acted as you would expect a professional company to conduct itself
