Area Disposal Service Inc

twice.Was a long time customer of Kleenway until Area bought them out. They raised their rate and then lost their ability to work with the customer. I was in financial distress and asked to stop service until I could pay. They continued to charge me and add on late fees for 2 billing cycles (6 months service). I called again and asked to be credited as I had only put out the tote twice. They said they did not believe me so I said ask the driver, he waves to me each morning. She said she would talk to him and call back. I never received that phone call. One tear later that trash was still in front of my house. Finally gave up and paid. Now I will see how long the tote sits in front of the house before they collect it. I have already called them twice, again.

We have residential curbside pick up every Thursday. After the Labor Day weekend the pickup should have been shifted one day to Friday but Friday came and went with no pickup. This is the second time recently that we've been skipped despite there being quite a few other subscribers to their service on the block. There's no explanation and since they often come late, by the time we knew the garbage was not being picked up, the corporate office in Clinton was closed for the weekend. It's been hot and the garbage is getting really ripe now. I admit they will credit your account if they miss a pickup, but that hardly makes up for having the garbage slowly cook in this weather. I'd much rather pay a little more than have to deal with an overflowing tote. When you call their customer service, no one seems to know anything at all. No explanation, no apologies, no feeling we're anything more than a street address. This is all kind of a shame as they've been pretty reliable until the last few months.

I think they are a little expensive.
