+ -1 moreHigh quality work overall. Reasonable labor charge and little or no markup on hardware. In a couple of instances I could procure hardware cheaper than he could obtain through his own sources and that was perfectly fine with him. Very willing to come over on short notice to deal with minor electrical issues that would have otherwise delayed the work being done by the cabinet installers/carpenters. Typically worked alone, but used apprentice to assist when the extra person lowered the overall labor cost. Charged reduced hourly rate for apprentice labor. Steve teaches electrical courses at the local community college so he thoroughly understands the electrical codes and is very capable of supervising assistants. He had a little issue with punctuality but not significant enough that it would cause me to lower my overall recommendation. On the positive side, he was willing to work into the evening on one occasion when needed to keep the overall project on schedule. Really coordinated well with the other contractors.
Description of Work: All electrical for total kitchen remodeling and 2 bathroom remodeling projects, plus multiple misc electrical changes in recently purchased home. Installed additional outlets, additional single and 3-way switches, under cabinet LED lighting, split off several kitchen ceiling lights which were on single switch to separate switch. Installed misc extra outlets throughout the house and installed switched light in coat closet. Also installed whole house surge protector.
