Description of Work: We had them install all new gutters on our historic home, and their recommendations, while the more modern style, came out looking very good. As far as we can tell, they work as expected as well. Except for their short work days, we were very satisfied with the service they provided, tho it was a bit more expensive than another company might have been. They were recommended by the roofer we'd just used, so we went with them without getting any other estimates.

Description of Work: My a/c unit was not working and they fixed it inexpensively but I had to wait 4 days for them to look at it which was frustrating as it was 100 degrees but I suppose that's how it is.

Description of Work: Came over to give me an estimate on HVAC system which Chapman had said I needed for gas valve and crack in the heat exhaust inducer. Peters checked the issues and said I needed no new system, just a replacement inducer which would cost about $200, not $7K. The manager said it was part of doing business honestly. He charged nothing for the check.

It has been great working with Peters. Its prices are fair, and it has been very reliable. Furthermore, they have been great at helping me find tax rebates for the system.

We recieved 3 bids and Peters was the first one back with us and was the lowest price. The professionalism was what probably made us choose them though. They made us feel comfortable and confident with the job that they were going to provide. Peters came and got the job done in the estimated time the sales man told us and we were very pleased with how everything turned out. We are loving our new home and the work that Peters Heating and Air Conditioning did on it.
Description of Work: I recently built a house and had Peters do the work. We had a gas log fireplace, Gas Furnace, and Air Conditioner put in. They did an incredible job! We had another company do our work at our old house but Peters Heating and Air Conditioning really impressed us with their price, equipment, and professionalism. We are now Peters customers and do not plan on going anywhere else.

I would recommend their professionalism, promptness and quality of work. I thought that the price was reasonable. I got two years free with the price for them coming out twice a year and doing a preventative maintenance service. I plan on going ahead with their service agreement.

The overall experience with Peter's was pretty good. When they had finished the installation of the new unit there were some minor issues that I had with some of the duct work but they were very responsive to my concerns and sent someone right over to fix everything that I was concerned about. My new air conditioner/furnace works great and I'm very happy with my new system.
Description of Work: I purchased a new central air and furnace from Peter's Heating & AC. My old unit had a coolant leak and was about 20-30 years old. By today's standards it was not efficient and and pretty much reached the end of its life.

My realtor contacted Peters to perfoed a pre-purchase Heating & AC inspection on my home and reported a few findings that I was able to use duringnegotiations with the seller. After closing, I followed up with Peters in order to complete the work. There was some initial confusion (a different location performed the inspection than would perform the services) but once they found the proper records, they scheduled a service date. Because of the location issues, the gentleman who came to perform the work didn't have the appropriate materials or time to make the needed repairs and I had to reschedule for a future date. Because this required me to take off work, I gave a low responsiveness score. However, when the next service man came, he did a great job repairing the system and teaching me how to maintain it. Now that I understand how their system works, I'll plan to use Peters again in the future.
Description of Work: Conduct a pre-purchase Heating/AC inspection, provide findings. Followed up with maintenance after closing.

They didn't seem to have knowledge of the products. There was differences in temperatures between the rooms. They told me to move the thermostat, which didn't make sense to me. After about 4 service calls, they determined that the fan speed was insufficient. We fixed the fan speed and it seemed to fix the problem. But, I had to pay for some of the service calls and was disappointed with their service overall.

Peter's sent a knowledgeable serviceman out promptly, within an hour. He installed a new motor and replaced burned wiring. He also checked a second unit for faulty wiring. It was OK, but he corrected a few minor problems it had. Price quoted above is only an estimate. This experience and others with this company allow me to say I would recommend them for work. Also I have not received a bill yet, so I merely put in a number so I could continue the survey. I can provide that correct info in a few days.
