Heater went out in the middle of winter. Tech arrived on time and was friendly. Determined one of the three heating elements was burned out. Tech attempted to fix the individual burned element, which would have been much cheaper, but it was not possible for my application. Part had to be ordered (entire assembly of course). Part arrived when they said it would and tech returned to install it. In no time, we were heating again. Overall happy with the company and service performed. The only problem I had with the service was in communication about the replacement cost of the heating element assembly. When the tech first came out, he was unable to quote a price immediately. He said they would call and let me know. They did call me promptly with the cost, which was something just under $200. I told them to go ahead and order the part. I suppose I might have known that this was ONLY the cost of the part itself. When I got the bill, it contained the cost I knew about (the heater element assembly), and ALSO tax and shipping for the part, and labor hours to install the part as well as original diagnostic. The total came to over $500. In hindsight I realize that I should have been expecting to pay additional labor to install the part, but I wish our phone conversation had contained a reasonable estimate of the size of check I would have to be writing. I was only given the actual, unshipped, catalog price of the part. I want to stress that I don't think I was scammed, or lied to, or anything like that. The expected total cost just was not communicated effectively in my particular situation. As it turns out, I was unable to pay in full immediately. A quick phone call and I was given some wiggle room to pay the next month. Very friendly. I will use this company again, and overall was pleased with the entire transaction.

Their service and products exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Peters for any heating or cooling serices. My utility bills have been reduced by 75%!

Motor failed on Christmas Day. Peter's come out the following day and fixed the wiring. According to rep the problem was faulty wiring the previous blower (installed 2 months prior also by Peters).

They did great! All was fine, and very good. They were very quick getting here.

The service turned out fine. They did a great job here. When there was a problem with the equipment, they did a follow up and fixed it. We were very pleased! They were not the most competitively priced company but they came to me through a strong referral and that’s why I went with them.

The main issue was when they straightened out some problems leftover from a previous heating and cooling company. It turned out very well.

We called them in the morning and they had it fixed by 4pm. They have always been out to fix unit with in hours of our call.

We researched new HVAC systems & installers by talking to several people in our area who had recently had units installed. On their recommendation we chose a Ground Source system & Peters Heating & AC to install it. They were prompt & efficient in the installation process. All the workers were very courteous & left the area cleaner than they found it. We were very pleased with the system for several months but then had a malfunction. Peters promptly (same day) arrived, diagnosed & repaired it with a warning that there may be a more serious problem & that they would be talking to the company. Within a short time it failed again,. They again very promptly arrived, did a temporary fix & ordered a replacement unit. This was installed within a few days. Once again, within a few months, another malfunction! Each of these malfunctions were due to a faulty component that has since been totally re configured. Two total replacements later, at absolutely NO additional expense to us, we are very, very happy with the Ground Source HVAC. We would absolutely use Peters again.

Peters came in and built and installed a baffle to resolve the living room vent issue. The existing ducts to the far bedroom was inspected - as requested - and Peter's provided me with potential solutions. Technicians were prompt, knowledgeable and quick. The 'mess' was cleaned and residue removed when the task was completed. All ceiling tiles removed for the inspection were replaced. Very satisfactory visit.

They did just fine. We have no problems with their service. My husband always calls them first.

The service was fine. There were a few problems. Dirt was tracked into the house. Also, while cleaning the air ducts they blew our house full of ash. It was really annoying and I am still finding corners with soot. They use completely separate teams for different processes of the job. Dominic Peters is one of the owners of the company. If you work with him everything is done correctly. I had about five bids and they had the best price.

Their service was good and I would recommend them. They always do a good job.

They are awesome! I love their service. They are always polite. They are expensive but I'm wiling to pay the price because they are honest. I trust them.

The service person was 40 minutes late and didn't call until he was on his way. He was here for about 15 minutes. Instead of using one of their filters as was stated in the services, he helped himself to one of ours. (They charge $4 if you don't buy this plan.) He did not go anywhere near the outside heat pump. When I called the office to ask if he should have checked out the heat pump, I was told "yes" and that he probably checked it on the way out. He didn't. She also didn't say anything about a refund for the filter he used. Unfortunately, we paid up front for this service. UPDATE: 11/26/12 After reading our review with an overall rating of D, the company contacted us and sent another technician out. Wow! What a difference. Had this guy been here first, the review would have been A all the way. I would hire this company again because now I know what they are capable of. I'm just going to keep a more of an eye out for what the tech is doing. As a side note, I do think the first tech knew what he was doing, but (as he mentioned) he was have a very bad day. While I have sympathy for him, it's not right to make his problem, my problem.
