Description of Work: My furnace had quit working. The service person checked it and said it had to be replaced. I later got an estimate from them (the estimate was free) but decided to go with another company.

Description of Work: Service was provided by Peters located in Hannibal, MO 63401, I had called after 5p.m. on the 15th and left a messaage that my A/C was not working. This morning I called to be sure they had received my message and to see about when they would be able to make it to my home. Initially, because of service calls it would be late in the afternoon for the repair but I was pleasantly surprised that Peters called and told me a call would be made around Noon. My repairman arrived around 10 a.m. and within a few minutes determined the capacitor was bad and replaced item and was gone in about 30 minutes. The part cost was $82 and the balance of the charge was for the service call, which I feel was reasonable. Have had Peters service my furnace in the past and I have always had knowledgeable, polite and efficient repairmen. I definitely will continue to use Peters and am happy of the special offer for discount on maintenance checkup for A/C which I am certainly going to take advantage of.

Description of Work: They installed a wood burning stove. We did have to negotiate because the wood burner was smoking. They put on an extra length of pipe. It still did not work but they said they could not afford to put on more piping. They are well known in the area. However, they did not give me the satisfaction I was looking for.

Description of Work: I called and they came out the same day - the first day of a heat wave. The AC technician explained why the problem was occurring (AC condensor iced up) and how to maintain the AC to prevent it from reoccurring. The issue was simple, just needed freon as it was a low. The technical was well groomed, neat and professional. I was very pleased with the service. (Note: I purchased a new HVAC unit from this company 6 years ago and this is the first time I have had it serviced).
