Description of Work: We have used Angie's list a couple of times. While those choices were good, Tom was excellent. His estimate was reasonable and he did not go over the estimate. He and his crew were very nice and at the end of each day cleaned up everything they could. I was very pleased and would recommend using his painting services.

Description of Work: I hired him to give an estimate on a painting job on my house. He set an appointment on Monday 4/25/16 for Wednesday 4/27/16 between 9 and 10 am and he didn't show. He never even called me to let me know if he was going to be late.

Description of Work: They performed a full makeover of our house. Included cedar siding (including replacing necessary cedar planks), wooden 2-car garage door, all soffits and aluminum trim necessary, 18 x 14 deck. | |Tom was great to work with throughout the process. Responsive throughout the process and quick to come by for our initial quote and discuss timeline expectations. He took time to help us decide on colors to transform our dated looking house. He even help advise us away from what we thought we wanted with some custom color samples he painted to decide on. We were very glad he presented us some more ideas at which we chose to use! He and his team properly prepped all materials as needed (scraping, sanding, power washing, etc). His brother came to help replace cedar board we identified for replacement. Staining/painting went great and his guys worked very hard with a great job done. He even added a 3rd coat of stain on sun damage susceptible sides. | |I am now reviewing 6 months later after much weather and half of a winter. There have been no issues with the work done or materials used. We couldn't be happier. Even our shaded deck is holding up really well with sitting rain and remelting snow. | |One note to future customers, expectations of timeline must be kept in mind. There are other customers and delays due to weather. Our project was delayed due to the late rainy spring last year.

Description of Work: Tom and crew did a great job painting my house and staining the deck. Tom's responsiveness was top notch. I knew when they were coming to power wash, when they'd be there for painting and staining and how long it would take. An overall great experience.

Description of Work: Tom painted the exterior of our home and patched some painting around an interior skylight.

Description of Work: Washed, sanded and stained decks.

Description of Work: They painted Living room with cathedral ceilings, dining room, removed wallpaper, halls stairs 3 bedrooms, and partial exterior, and repaired some water damage by replacing wallboard. I was there during the prep work, and it is amazing to watch them as they spend a lot of time covering and protecting the rooms, and removing and replacing everything on the walls, including custom drapes. This painter takes great pride in his work. Everything is done with 2 coats and his attention to detail is better than most painters I have dealt with.

Description of Work: He painted the exterior of our house and deck, and did some small carpentry.

Description of Work: Painted the exterior siding and trim. Also repaired the trim around the garage and the corners of the siding.

Description of Work: Tom performed drywall repair, taping, mudding, cleaned and painted all interior ceilings, walls, baseboards, stair rails, window and door trim and frames on three floors of my house, excluding doors, one small bedroom and bathroom. He also removed wall paper from my master bedroom. Most walls were painted a light, neutral color. Master bedroom was painted a darker color below chair rail. Basement painted white. Basement bathroom painted darker color. He cleaned and painted the exterior walls of my concrete block garage, painted the garage and service doors, painted the exterior window and front door frames and trim on my house. Finally he cleaned and painted a rusty Juliet balcony and side fence. (All exterior work was a shared job among two other neighbors as our houses adjoin each other and the trim needed to be matched). Tom performed all prep, used two coats of paint, left leftover paint for future touch-ups at my request.

Description of Work: Exterior house painting including face board, overhang, all trims, gutters and downspouts, garage door, service door and back yard french doors. 2 coats of oil based paint. They cleaned all trim of mildew by hand and scrapped and caulked the outside. And they added mildew resistance chemical to the paint. Replaced all wood trim that was rotten or in bad shape.

Description of Work: Tom painted all the trim on our 2-story home, as well as replaced several areas of rotten wood around the windows. He did an excellent job. My husband was particularly impressed that he actually removed all the shutters to paint them. We really noticed and appreciated his attention to detail. He was neat and efficient.
