+ -1 moreDuring the initial visit, Mr. Grabowski took pains to make certain that I understood the source of the problem and his recommended solution and gave me an opportunity to ask whatever questions I had. He and his worker arrived at the scheduled time, were courteous, cleaned up afterward, and charged me the quoted price. And while at the house they even helped me -- at no additional charge -- with an entirely unrelated minor repair that I showed them. Since the installation, a severe thunderstorm with no sign of a leak indicates that my problem has been solved. I was thoroughly pleased with the service I received and would certainly hire ECI Green again.
Description of Work: After other contractors had failed to solve a water leak issue in my home, ECI Green owner Adam Grabowski identified the source of the problem to be a pair of improperly installed windows. He solved the problem by installing some additional custom-fitted matching trim that would send rainwater away from the house rather than allowing it to pool and seep in around the windows.

+ 0 moreThe workers were professional, polite, and effecient but the way the owner handles his business practice is crap.
Description of Work: ECI Green, Inc was on time and completed the work in an efficient manner. During the repairs, they provided pictures so I was able to understand what was causing the leak on my roof and what needed to be repaired. In addition, they found additional problems on my roof that they fixed as well. For the quality of work done, I would give this company a thumbs up. On the other hand, where the company lacks is the estimation process. I had Adam come to my house to assess the project and provide a quote. I was quoted $1200-$1700 for the entire project. A couple days later I received a formal contract by email with an estimate of $1425-$2025. I questioned the difference in quotes I received and Adam provided a $100 discount for the confusion leaving the estimate to complete the work still higher at $1425-$1925. Since spring rain is right around the corner, I decided to go ahead with the work as the new quote range provided doesn’t necessarily mean the cost will be higher than originally quoted of $1200-$1700. When I received the final bill, I was charged for the highest quoted amount of $1925 with no detail to what each part of the project cost. How do I know the repair cost wasn’t on the lower side of his estimate ($1425) and he charged me the highest ($1925)? I questioned this and his explanation was that they always go with the higher amount. Had the company quoted me $1925 to start with, I would have been fine with it. I think the ECI Green, Inc does decent work, but I disagree with their business practice.

+ 1 moreAfter a high profile roof company put a new roof on my home, I continued to have problems with water permeating the chimney area on the second floor of my home. After the roof company abdicated all responsibilty for the correcting the problem (they even denied a problem existed) I called Adam Grabowski at ECI Green. Adam was referred to me by one of the several home inspectors I subsequently called to help correctly diagnose the source of the water leakage problem. Highly skilled and extremely intelligent concerning home construction, materials, construction guidelines, they quickly diagnosed the source of the problem which was poor installation of chimney flashing. They repaired the roof, removed and reconstructed inner walls permeated with black mold, and voila - my problem was solved. Sharp, efficient, and extremely honest, they are simply the best! As a homeowner who has hired many companies to do work on my home throughout the years, ECI Green is undoubtedly the best.
Description of Work: ECI Green (Adam Grabowski) correctly diagnosed the source of water leakage into my home, repaired the roof, treated and reconstructed areas affected with mold.
