About us

Founded in 1991 by Bill Marks, Computer Training & Support started as a small company to provide individuals one-on-one on-site computer tutoring/training. In 1993, our company was written up in the Pioneer Press pointing out our presence to new computer users. Since then, we have been recognized by various newspapers and media. At the beginning of 1995, when computers gained popularity, CT&SS started to offer classes in local Park District Facilities bringing instruction into the backyards of homes and small businesses. To this day, CT&SS continues to offer both one-on-one on-site hands-on tutoring plus affordable small group classes in Chicago land Park District facilities ranging from $25 - $175. Our classes are offered primarily to the beginner but also to the intermediate and advanced computer user. Everything we offer provides repetition and challenge to enlighten computing in the present era.

Not only fixed my computer but provided helpful advice on a number of other issues including desirable features for a replacement computer. FOLLOW UP: I purchased a new Dell Windows 10 computer with specs recommended by Bill Marks. I also hired him to help me install it as well as simplify and move additional equipment. We did encounter a couple of issues, but Bill was able to solve them in minutes whereas it would have taken me hours. His depth of knowledge of both new and old computers is unsurpassed based on my past experience using tech support sources. I would strongly recommend using Computer Training and Support Services!!!
