First contact was very encouraging. Quickly made an appointment for a quote to re-wire entire house and was very personable. Due to a communications mix up and my being away from home for a month, the quote was a bit late but otherwise absolutely no complaints. Dave was very prompt at scheduled meetings and very helpful with suggestions about rewiring a 99 year old concrete house with a lot of original wiring. I have had work done by this company in the past and was very satisfied. Looking forward to an equally good outcome. Up date. I was told this was a two week job and in September I told them to go ahead with the job. This is a small town and things are done on a handshake. I should have asked for a contract. No one ever came to work on the house even though I had my preparations done to make the job easier. When I called to see what the problem was, I was told there were a lot of emergencies. Apparently their definition of an emergency is different than mine because I saw them working on jobs such as emergency generators that I thought could have waited 2 weeks. Finally after we had missed Thanksgiving and Christmas family dinners in the house, they got started a little bit here and there. The finally finished the job in mid April. The work done is first class and the guys doing the work had good suggestions of how to improve on my ideas. The would call me if they ran into an problem and ask for guidance rather than just ram ahead. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the job but if I have to use this company again, I will insist on a contract with a completion date and a very health penalty clause for failure to finish on time.
