My parents had to move in with me so I had an addition put on my home. My dad needs to use a wheelchair so the whole addition was suppose to be handicap accessible. The project started in June and was suppose to be done the end of August. Jeff and John started off being very nice, but don't be fooled by them. Jeff and John used a lot of profanity. Even my neighbors could hear them . Jeff was very rude and cursed at me and to some of the other people he had work on the job. Jeff walked off the job half way through but John stayed. Jeff did come back when it was nearing the end. John didn't know what he was doing. He put down tile in the laundry room, hall, and bathroom that is so bad that it has to be completely removed, even the subfloor. The door they put on the laundry room is only 28 inches and has to be replaced with a 36 inch door. First of all it should have been 36 inches to be handicap accessible. Also I can't get my dryer out of the laundry room to have the tile replaced until I have the door made larger. The gutters are not properly attached to the house and have to be fixed. When Jeff came back, he and John fixed some little things in the addition but refused to fix these big things as well as some others things. Now after a month the walls are cracking in every room. This is the worst job that anyone has ever seen.
Description of Work: I had an addition put on my home. Handicap Bathroom, Bedroom, Laundry room, Enclosed porch, and a deck.

My fianc and I purchased a new house that had a skinny spiral staircase connecting the two floors. It was inadequate for our dog and seemed unsafe for children and older adults. The previous owner contacted J.W. Fritz for a quote on building a standard staircase and we decided to go with him after we purchased the house. John Swider was the foreman on our job (the company is basically Jeff Fritz and John) and he was at our house every day for about 2 weeks. Building stairs takes a lot of judgment and artistry, we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Although they aren't the cheapest builders in the world, you get what you pay for! Additionally, we will be having John conduct some smaller tasks (moving a ceiling fan, installing new light fixtures, etc.) before moving in because he is reliable and good to work with.
Description of Work: Installation of new oak staircase to replace preexisting spiral staircase.
