Bernie was great. He came to estimate the job and really listened, asking good questions. He gave a good price and was accurate with scheduling the job and estimating the amount of time it would take. While working at our house, he provided updates and listened to input. We are very happy with his work.

Bernie is amazing, a perfectionist for sure. We wouldn't use anyone else.

He came in for an estimate based on what I requested. When he arrived, I found that the previous contractor who started the work did it incorrectly. He took the time to explain my options and gave me time to make a decision. He was professional and took his time with the job. The door looks a lot better and is truly more secure. I really appreciate his expertise and patience.

Mr. Powers came out several times to talk with us and we discussed in detail what we wanted remodeled and he also gave suggestions. He did not force his suggestions on us or pressure us in any way(as another company had done). Of couse some of his suggestions were valid and we chose to do some but again never felt pressured. I called him sveral times through out the remodel and he was prompt in answering or returning calls. Mr. Powers kept us up to date on the plan or if changes were needed(again old house) daily and explained in detail what was being done. His work was precise and he seemed to take pride in the quality of his workmanship. Mr. Powers asked many times for any feedback that we had. The time frame,quality, and cost were as he quoted even though some changes had to be made due to old kitchen. He always cleaned up before he left and was always on time. I love my "new kitchen" and for any further carpentry I would not hesitate to contact him.

Bernie was prompt and very thorough. He spent lots of time going over the project with me and was very prompt in getting me quotes and researching some projects. He came in on budget. His sub contractors were excellent and did a great job. They rearranged their schedules to conform to my needs. They were clean and mindful of my furniture. They were quick to adapt to changes I requested. Their workmanship was excellent. I would definitely use them again.

Bernie is friendly, gives accurate description of how the work will be performed, and the price is good.

It was a lot better working with Star Carpentry as compard to working with JH Carpentry. Great work!!

called after angies list a plus rating. we met and talked about what i needed done and he said a call was forthcoming with an estimate. after i got his call we met and he did it in one day just as he told me.a great experience with all work was done to my satisfaction. i called him later to thank him for the job he did.

Bernie is fast, reliable and very professional, I have used him before to build a deck and tile my bathrooms and have always been completely satisfied.

Star Carpentry gave us an estimate and time it would take to complete. With the amount of doors and time to stain and finish them, this was a very good price. Bernie was always prompt. He worked long days and the quality of work shows this. He completed this job on time. Other companies would be wise to take lessons from Star Carpentry. I would hire them again in a heart beat. They know how to get the job done right.
