Description of Work: Last year in May my wife and I purchased a home in Plainfield, IL. We were able to get the house for an extremely low price for a four bedroom. The downfall was the place was a mess! Carpet was gross, linoleum was sticky, and random colors of OOP's paint from home depot were everywhere. We called in several contractors for a bid, and immediately we knew Moe was the General Contractor that we wanted to straighten out our first home. He found several things that the other contractors did not see. In 30 days he was able to turn the house from unlivable to amazing. The money that we spent went to the following. All new carpet on the second floor in all 4 bedrooms, the loft, and the stairs. The 900 sq ft main level was treated to 3/4" Bamboo hard wood flooring, and all new moldings. Every room in the house was painted, walls and ceilings. He had many ideas that after moving in we have found invaluable. He was able to run power and mount ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, loft, and dining area. We also received all new appliances, Washer, Dryer, Microwave, Refrigerator, stove, and Dish washer. The only actual structural parts of the house that required attention was the kitchen floor and doors. Upon removal of the floor, Moe found water damage to the floor support beams. he immediately notified us, and found room in our budget for the repairs. He also worked very well with the city. Obtaining our COA the Monday after he completed the job on Saturday night. When all was said and done he had the entire house cleaned, including the rooms that he did not touch. After a month of living in the house, we found that the gutter in the back was responsible for the rotted floor and door jamb. We called Moe and he was over with two of his guys two hours later to correct the problem. We even had a few of the Realtors that did not think it possible that the house could be completed in the short time back to the house.
