MAJESTIC CUSTOM HOMES

My wife and I worked with Kirk to plan out the build of our new home. After much research into full remodeling vs. new building we opted to move forward with a new custom build. We found Majestic Custom Homes on the list and proceeded with interviewing Kirk and his references. Things looked good so we put down a down payment and moved forward with the project. We started working with Kirk in early 2007. Kirk is intimately familiar with the custom home building process. I have been around the trades and repair/maintenance work all my life and sometimes can be a little bit of a control freak when it comes down to the technical points, but I felt at ease and very comfortable when with Kirk and his working knowledge of all aspects of the build. Not only does he really have the project management aspects really nailed down, he can comfortably speak to any of the technical matter about which you may have questions. When we'd discussed decision points, he would introduce the topic in a manner that was very informative, state his opinions and recommendations, and then he would be open to your decision. Some builders are very their way or the highway about certain points. If he felt that we were making a decision that was contradictory to our budgeting goals or design wants/needs, he would openly discuss the matter with us to make sure that there was little chance for misunderstandings further down the line. Kirk's professionalism is outstanding and you can tell that customer service is his top priority. He was always very punctual with meeting, calls, and deliverables. Likewise, he would call ahead of time if the possibilities for delay existed. His dedication to the client and project were very evident and we really had the feeling that he was vested in the project as much as we were. Unfortunately, the economical state is currently precluding us from continuing this project and we had to put it on hold. However, we have every intent to move forward with Majestic Custom Homes once the economy proves less volatile. Hopefully, in the near future I will be posting a report on the actual build portion of this project.

It's been several months since we moved into our new Majestic home, and we still find ourselves saying how much we love our it. Being first time homebuyers, my wife and I thoroughly researched several builders. When we met with Majestic Custom Homes, Kirk's determination, flexibility, and honesty immediately impressed us. To assist us in the pre-construction process, Kirk let us tour several of his customers' homes. These clients were so thankful for Kirk's work in the past, they had no problem opening their homes to complete strangers. We now know how these people feel. It's easy to get overwhelmed when making decisions for your new home. However, Kirk has efficiently streamlined the buyers' decision process. To compliment this process, Kirk always gave quick feedback. Kirk still responds to all inquiries within 24 hours even after we have moved in. Majestic Custom Homes prides itself on superior quality. We expected superior quality and we received it.

Kirk McKeown at Majestic was very organized, knowledgeable, honest, hardworking, and professional. He kept the project on schedule and running smoothly. He uses top notch subcontractors and monitors the work very closely. All promises he made to us were kept and the house delivered as planned. The finished project exceeded our expectations and my wife and I can truly say that dealing with Kirk at Majestic was a pleasure. We would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a custom built home.
