Phil and his crew were very efficient and careful not to damage any surrounding trees. They cleaned the debris up well too. Good value.

This was repeat business because they performed so well the first time. We are having our house reclad and two trees were growing just too close to the house and had to be removed.. These were two 30 foot evergreen trees and before I knew it they were completely gone, and the ground was raked over like there was never any trees there. They also pruned an 18 year old Japanese Maple to shape it. It is now fully leaved and a beautiful tree. We also had them prune a 20 year old river birch which is a big job because the tree is so big. Illinois Tree Service is who I will always call for tree service

They did an excellent job. My interactions with John and Phil were fantastic. They did a thorough job and completed it on time. I reached out to them with a message on Angie's list and heard back from them in a few hours. They were on site and provided me with a quote in less than 24 hours.

I called to get an estimate to have a dead tree removed from the front yard. John (one of the owners) came the same day and gave me an estimate. It was very competitive compared to the other three estimates I had obtained. I e-mailed the contract and the next day Matt (the other owner) called and said they were in the area and could stop by sometime after lunch. A team of 4 young men came and had the tree down in under 20 minutes. Then the guys with the chipper came and had the tree chewed up in no time. I was very happy with their work. They were polite, professional and they cleaned up the area where the tree was. These guys are first rate in my book. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of tree services.

There was a lot of work to be done on our back and front yards. We had 7 guys performed the service, all professional and did their job well. Completion of the work was done in a timely manner and they clean up afterwards. Given this is our first time using this company we were at first hesitant on the outcome of the trimming... I can definitely say, the results exceeded our expectations. Trimming of the trees and bushes were very well done! Removal of the dead trees was straight forward, including the stump. I would definitely recommend this company!

John came buy the day I asked for an estimate, and the crew arrived about a week later. Phil and the rest of the crew were polite and professional. They arrived on time, completed the job within about an hour, and cleaned up everything. They even cleaned up my neighbors driveway where one of my trees always drops lots of dead wood and leaves. All in all, from John to Phil to the price I am very pleased!

Great Folks and Great Service. John promptly provided a quote for service which was very reasonable for the work to be performed. They were very flexible in scheduling the work as I needed to coordinate this the same day when landscapers where here to flatten the beds. They arrived when expected with ample crews to complete the works promptly. They work in conjunctions the the landscapers so they could complete the work. Very pleased with them. Would use them again and highly recommend them.

I contacted this company and that very same morning John arrived to give a quote. He was straight forward and very clear on what he could offer. Less than a week later all the work was done and cleaned up well. We were very impressed. We will definitely be using this company again.

Called Matt on a Saturday and was out to estimate the job later that same day. He gave me the cost and we set the appointment up for the following Saturday at 8am. When Saturday came, his crew arrived promptly at 8am and began the work. Matt had told me it would take an hour, it took them 45 minutes. His crew took down the tree, cleaned up the branches and the area where they parked their vehicles. I would highly recommend Matt and his company.

Removed a total of 3 trees, 2 of which were close to house, chipped and ground. No problems. Excellent service and price. Top Notch Company.

They arrived on time and gave me copies of their Workman's Comp policy along with their Liability Insurance policy, as I requested. They finished the whole job in 3 hours. They had a crew of 6 or 7 and worked non stop. They cleaned everything up and I was thrilled with their work. I would hire them again.

I cal k ed for an estimate and a rep replied quickly. I walked around and told him what I had in mind and he gave me a price. I was told they could be here in about two week. They arrived when promised, did all the work, cleaned up and stuck to the price.

Great to deal with and exceptional quality of work. They were great from beginning to end. They came out to do the estimate within an hour of my initial call. Once the proposal was accepted, we were able to schedule the work within 3 weeks. The crew arrived early on the date the work was scheduled to be performed. I honestly lost track of exactly how many there were in the crew (8 - 10) - they seemed to be everywhere at once. They had at least 3 trucks including the bucket truck as well as trailers and a bobcat-type vehicle to move the bigger logs. It was amazing to watch them work - they obviously have been doing this for quite a while, everyone knew exactly what they were doing. They were very fast but you could tell that they were always putting safety first - their own and each others'. And they could not have been nicer. This was a big job, there were out there for 4 - 5 hours. And when they were done, everything looked great - it was so clean you really wouldn't have known they had even been there. I was dreading having to get this done but Matt and his crew made this painless as well as pleasant. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely hire them again for any future work.

A crew of 5-6 arrived within minutes of the promised time, and quickly completed the promised work in a professional manner. The price was fair, and the work was done extremely efficiently. This is the third time I've used Illinois Tree Service, and they're on my short list to use again for similar services.

They were very polite and professional. They contacted me that they were in the neighborhood on Friday and would be able to remove the trees. They did a spectacular job. They did not leave any branches or misplaced dirt. It is as if the trees were never there except for the "mulch" left behind from grinding the stumps. I would highly recommend them and will definitely contact them in the future for any other tree removals. Very happy with the price and the excellent work they did!

The crew arrived exactly on time as promised. All work was done efficiently, completely and safely. The final cleanup was done more impressively than I have ever seen from any other tree service I have contracted. The entire crew were friendly and very professional. I will definitely use them again for any tree services in the future. I have recommended them to three neighbors already.

I am extremely happy for the tree services I got from Illinois Tree Services. I got quote from John two weeks before the services were rendered. On July 29th, I called them in the morning to see if these guys can schedule the tree cutting this week. After explaining the details to Matt, he agreed to come to cut the trees. Initially, I had a plan to cut one giant Pine tree and two juniper trees but looking at their attention to details, I decided to cut all the unwanted trees and shrubs surrounding my house. Matt was very flexible and considerate of the prices. He also ground the stumps of the trees which I had cut sometime ago but could not grind the stumps. The crew was very friendly, quick, careful and responsible. I will definitely hire them again for tree cutting in my back yard of the house. They did awesome job and I have already referred these guys to my neighbors.

Wow, I had to write a review after Phil and his fun crew did such a thorough and professional job trimming my 80 ft Willow. I have had my tree worked on in the past by other companies but Illinois Tree Service climbs higher, finds more dead wood, leaves my yard cleaner than before, is more highly accommodating to getting particular branches off my room, and is the most enthusiastic, polite, and professional group of workers one could hope to hire. I appreciated them providing a copy of their insurance and calling ahead several times when they would exactly arrive. Phil is a very skilled climber, easy to talk with, and hard worker. thanks guys!

Great price 1/2 of others.two crews cut down my trees and cut down trees next door neighbors yard. You have to get an estimate from them! Done in less than 4 hours. Great clean up!

Matt was awesome. He quickly responded to my inquiry. I told him I needed the job done in the next few days. Once we agreed to his totally reasonable price, his professional crew were at my house within a couple of hours. They did a fantastic job. I would totally use and refer this company again.

They were delayed three days due to weather. They came with a crew of about 6, a truck with a telescoping bucket and a large wood chipper. They had a man in the trees in the back of the house trimming branches. Another man was in the front of the house working from the bucket trimming trees. Other men were collecting cuttings and chipping them. Still others were cutting down the small trees. They did extra trimming and brush collecting that was outside the scope of the contract at no extra charge. The work took a day and a half.
