He was fantastic! He was so professional, punctual and clean. He was everything you could ask for, he was just fantastic! My yard looks better now then before he came. I tell everyone to use him.

Excellent. They trimmed the branches I wanted trimmed and continued to ask if there wre any others. They worked over a porch with skylights. They were very careful on how they removed the limbs and cleaned up very well after the job was finished.

Matt returned my initial call very promptly. I explained what trees needed trimming and how I wanted them trimmed. A day later I heard back from Matt with a quote after he'd visited the house to assess the job. He quoted the job I wanted done as opposed to some other quotes I received where they also quoted services that weren't necessary (putting in cables for support, taking out a couple of tree roots that only stick up 1/2 inch out of the ground, thinning out dead branches even though there were almost none on any of our trees, etc.). Matt's approach to the job was very straightforward and focused on what I needed done without trying to sell unnecessary services. Within a week he completed the job and the trees looked just the way I wanted them to. The area was also cleaned up perfectly to the point that you wouldn't know he'd been there.

A recent storm left us with a tree split down the middle with half of it on my fence and the other half precariously still standing. There was no saving the tree so I wanted a service to take it down gracefully before it fell on my house and caused property damage (or worse, a neighbor's house). They returned my call on a Saturday very quickly and understood the urgency of the problem and did the felling as quickly as possible so that it wouldn't cause damage, then came back two days later to remove it all and grind the stump. While there was a lot of stump shavings left behind, the rest of the lawn was spotless and I was very pleased. I will definitely consider them again.

Very responsive. Came when they said they would. Needed to come back for stump grinding due to need for JULIE to mark utilities and wet ground. Came back without prompting. Reviewed work on initial visit, after first visit to remove trees, and then again after stump removal. I would definitely use them again.

I left them a message late in the day. Matt returned my call the following morning and came by on a Saturday at my request to give me an estimate. I agreed to his bid and hired him to do the work. He came out the following Thursday after the weather cleared and completed the job. They showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would do, cleaned up everything and hauled it away. Taking down the tree with a line runnning through it was not a simple task. The Village Public Works Department was driving by when they were working and stopped to watch when they were working around the power lines. No complaints from the village at all on what they did and how they did it. I would consider hiring him for future jobs.

Most of the work was completed in just one afternoon. One bush ended up containing a rather large wasp nest, which they required we remove before they continued service. Despite hiring a third party exterminator, Illinois Tree came back three times before enough wasps were eradicated to complete the job. Despite the additional callouts, they did not charge any extra and were sympathetic to frustrations with mitigating the wasp issues.

Matt and his crew did a great job. This is the second time I've used them and I would definitely use them again. Matt came and gave me a quote soon after I called then scheduled the work as soon as weather permitted. They worked quickly and did the work correctly. If there was a question they asked then did the work exactly the way I wanted it done. When they finished they cleaned up after themselves. They did a quality job. I am a horticulturist with high standards so that says a lot.

THEY SHOWED UP TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE PRICE WAS LOWER THEN I EXPECTED. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. VERY POLITE AND CLEAN. I WILL DEFINATELY USE THEM AGAIN.

I called the company and received a prompt reply. I received an estimate quickly. The weather caused some delays but I was kept up to date the whole time. When it came time to pay the owner reminded me of the Angie's discount and reduced the price accordingly.

Called me back the same day when I called and set up an appointment for the following Saturday. Showed up right on time for the estimate. Once we decided to have them do the work a date was set within a week to have the work done. Had to reschedule because of weather, but only a few days later. On the day of the job they showed up right on time and did a great job. At one point even asked me to move my car to be sure it would not be hit by wood chips as they were grinding out a stump near it. Cleaned up very well.

I called Illinois Tree Service on a Friday and left a msg. Matt returned my call within an hour and came out the next day to give me a quote. Within the next few days, I gathered 2 more quotes from other companies. Needless to say, Matt's price beat the others by a large margin. We scheduled an appointment within the week. On the day of service, it began raining. Matt called to say he wouldn't be able to do the job, and we rescheduled 2 days later. The guys came on time, we went over what needed to be done, and within 2 hrs., the guys were done. They were very professional, they cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job.

Matt showed up early on the appointed day with his crew of two other men. They were polite and professional. They went to work on trimming some major dead limbs that were threatening to break off during the next big storm and damage the house. They double checked with me to make sure that what I wanted done was done. They worked safely and were a great team. After the limbs and branches were down they were placed in the chipper. They cleaned up thoroughly and gave me a bill for the exact amount that we had agreed upon. I would hire them again and I even discussed some possible future work next spring.

Came out and reviewed work with us to get an accurate estimate as opposed to other companies that either didn't return phone calls or would not meet us to review work before quoting. Performed work as scheduled and in a timely manner. Did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

Called their number and left message on machine and was called back in about 3 hours with appointment for estimate. They arrived early and I was 10 minutes late, but they had already surveyed. As promised, they got to us to do the job in a week. EVERYTHING was done safely and did extra clean-up around patio area.

Outstanding! Our call was returned promptly. Matt came out, surveyed the situation and gave us a cost estimate and a time when a crew could come out. The crew showed up the next day and took care of the work in very impressive fashion. They were very careful about removing the limb given how it was on the roof.

EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH. Matt and Russ were very easy to deal with and came out promptly. Returned calls promptly and even did additional trimming to my complete satisfaction.

Company provided 2 initial consultations and estimate. Showed up promptly and as scheduled to do the work. Very flexible and willing to deal with a somewhat indecisive property owner who watched as the crew worked and "called the shots" as they went along, making decisions about what to salvage and what to remove. All workers were accommodating, courteous and polite. They were happy to cut 2 uniform sections of the large tree trunk and cart them to my next door neighbor, who wanted them for a project. Hauled away some stacked logs and wood from our yard & trimmed a couple of extra high branches, at no additional charge. Job took about 3 hours to complete. We will do business again, absolutely. It was a pleasure to deal with an intelligent young business owner who demonstrates much apparent competence and integrity.

OVERALL JOB WAS EXCELLENT!! I PHONED OWNER MATT ON THURSDAY FOR AN ESTIMATE AND THEY CAME ON THE SAME DAY. WOW. MARK WENT OVER THE TREES ONE BY ONE AND EXPLAINED WHAT THEY WOULD BE DOING. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE TREES. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE ESTIMATE..(40% BETTER THAN 2 OTHER ESTIMATES I HAD) THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY @ 8 AM. BEFORE THEY CAME ON TUESDAY MY HUSBAND WANTED THE INSURANCE FORM FAXED. I PHONED MAT ON SATURDAY AND HE FAXED THEM IMMEDIATELY. THANKS AGAIN. MATT ARRIVED ON TUESDAY WITH 2 OTHER MEN 15 MINUTES EARLY. VERY IMPRESSIVE. THEY ASKED IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE THEY STARTED. THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. VERY PROFESSIONAL. MATT AND CREW CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY. YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW THAT THEY WERE EVEN HERE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM IN A HEARTBEAT. Illinois tree service was very responsive. A quote was given the day of phone call. A second quote came 10 days later from another company. The third person who was asked to quote never responded. Matt (owner) was cooperative and called and completed work as he verbally stated. The quality of work was excellent. I would recommend Illinois Tree Service to anyone who needs tree work done.

They were awesome, and the price was fantastic. I called them on a Tuesday and the work was done by Thursday. They were professional, responsive, and did great work. I cannot believe how inexpensive they were for all the work they completed. It is not often to find a company of this caliber. I will use them for all future tree related projects.

Illinois Tree Service came when they said they would, cleaned up the debris from the yard, and were very pleasant to deal with. The tree had to be removed by men climbing into it and removing limbs. They were as careful as possible not to damage landscaping, even though they had to lower large branches with a rope. Because we had little bridges in the yard, they covered these with plywood so they would not be damaged when they dragged the heavy limbs over them. When they took the trunk down, I was floored to see that the diameter must have been at least five feet. They did an excellent job, especially considering the conditions they had to work under. We would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them.
