Very punctual, courteous and professional. Did work and cleaned up afterwards. I did not have the stump of the pine tree ground down because of my concern about an in ground sprinkler system and an electric fence for my dog. Both were very close to the tree. Very satisfied with how the maple looked after trimming and thinning. Would definitely use again.

Cut down a very large pine tree and ground out the stump. Everything done, removed, and cleaned up within a half hour. Very professional. Would definately hire them again.

They were excellent. Not only did they cut down the tree, but they trimmed some bushes for me too. They were in and out so quickly that I barely had time to see the tree come down. They were very reasonably.

Removed large tree from yard in area where a patio will be built. Requested they grind stump way down to accomodate patio. We discovered a portion of the stump & roots were not removed, so they had to come back twic to take care of it.. They did comply promptly. I would use this company again.

I placed the call in the evening after work. Asked that we get an estimate for what wewant done. And, asked them when they call back to call after 4:00 so my husband could talk with him. Matt called after 4:00 and my husband set up a time for him to come out and give an estimate. Matt came as planned gave us out estimate and he came out the following week. He had a crew of 5 guys they were there at 8:00am and finished at 10:30. I had asked Matt to do more work than originally planned and estimated which he took care of for me. I have no complaints very happy with thier work.

Matt arrived with a total crew of 6, I believe. He and another guy up in the trees, and 4 on the ground to remove the brances as they fell. He and his crew completed the job in less than an hour! He and his associate climbed up to the top of their respective tree, power sawed the branches and dropped them down to the ground from above, where the rest of the crew took over, removing the branches to the chipper. They proceed to saw segments of the trunk, until both trees were totally down. Largest sections of trunk were removed to their trailer. Then, Matt ground out the stump of the taller spruce, and then the crew removed all of the excess branches & twigs and raked up the area. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this company to anyone contemplating tree removal.

Matt came for and estimate on Tuesday, and on Wednesday morning at 8a the tree was being taken down. He and his crew were there promptly at 8a, and got the tree down in a little over an hour with two stumps ground as well besides the tree taken down. I felt the price was extremely fair, they left me as much of the tree as I wanted to burn, and put it where I wanted as well. Cleaned up completely, and were out. I was very impressed with their speed, and willingness to help me out as I wanted. They are a great company, and I would recommend them to anyone, as well as use them again if I need a tree removed!

He trimmed two large maples that had not been cared for recently.

The Trimmer/Pruner was very skilled. They cleaned up everything. I am so impressed with them. The yard looks great!

No dos and don'ts on this job. Simple and straight forward.

I got estimates from three Angie's list reviewed companies. Matt was prompt in returning my call and providing an estimate. His estimate was lowest and when I mentioned that i am an Angie's List subscriber He discounted the price an additional 5%. The arrived on time and set to work on the tree which was actually two trees that had grown together. I had asked if the could place the cut wood on the side of my property and they were happy to do so. They had to remove a section of my fencing to get the stump grinder in but there were no problems and they were able to put everything back in place. The only issue I did have was that there were some (very) small broken twigs left in the back yard. They did rake and remove 99% of the debris but I did have to do a little picking up afterward. This was a minor issue at best and I did not complain. Considering that 1/2 of the tree was dead and twigs broke so easily I was not concerned. They did a great job and provided a great service for the price.

Fair price, worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves.

Matt was promptly responsive to my voicemail. He came out and gave a very fair estimate for the front yard and back yard- individually as well as the entire job. His team was prompt, courteous and professional on the day of service. Matt and his team notified me of some issues with a tree that was undetectable from the ground- no extra charge for removal. Matt is a knowledgable arborist. They did a terrific job and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend Illinois Tree Service to everyone.

If there was an A+ I would have given it. I called them yesterday and Matt came out within a half hour of the call. They did a great job and were very conscientious. Two of the trees were precariously positioned between my neighbors' house and my own. They were growing directly over my home and scraping the roof. My neighbors saw IL Tree Svs work and hired them to do their house as well. Really cleaned up the branches and the remaining tree stub mulch.

We called Matt and he returned the call almost immediately. He came out the same day and looked at the condition of the trees and gave us an estimate for the work. The estimate was extremely good and the schedule for performance of the work was perfect. Matt told us exactly when he would be at our home and arrived even before his predicted start time. The work was done exactly as we had hoped and the mess was cleaned up before the crew left including moving and returning our patio furniture. They even ground up some additional limbs that were not part of the pruning. We would highly recommend Matt and Illinois Tree Service.

I called and left a message for Matt. He returned my call quickly and was able to remove my tree within the week. (I had called a few other companies that either took days to return my call, never returned my call, or were unable to perform the services for several weeks.) On the day Matt's crew arrived, within an hour the tree was removed and the stump was ground. The entire area was cleaned of any debris. I was extremely pleased with the work performed by this company. Illinois Tree Service will definitely be the first company I call in the future.

I had contacted three tree services to get information and an estimate and Matt from Illinois Tree Service was by far the best in terms of speed of response and estimate. They were very punctual, performed the work quickly and left the yard in a clean condition. I was very impressed with how well everything went. Matt had even called JULIE prior to the removal to make sure there wouldn't be any issues.

After researching several tree companies on Angie's List, I had three of them come and give me a quote. All were within $50 of each other. I decided to go with Illinois Tree Service, and I'm glad I did. Although the work was originally scheduled for a Friday, it was raining that day and they called and asked if they could postpone it to Saturday. Mike and his 5 member crew showed up right on time and began working on all three trees at the same time. They made sure that any falling limbs, etc. didn't hit the fence or anything else in the way. They ground up everything they removed, and cleaned up the entire area. They followed my instructions on the fruit trees exactly, and didn't remove more than I wanted. It took them a grand total of an hour and 15 minutes for the entire job. I am very pleased with their work.

Great company to deal with, polite, pleasant. They came when they said they would, did a great job, clean and for a good price. I would definitely recommend and use them in the future.

Our ten year old tree in our front yard was hit by lighting which caused half of it to fall down onto the sidewalk. I called Illinois Tree Service to come and give me an estimate to cut the tree down and was surprised that one of their representatives could come out within a few hours. After he came out, I discussed what happened and asked his suggestion on whether or not the tree should be cut to the ground or have the stump taken out. He advised that we have it cut to the ground because if we were to pull the stump, the retaining wall that surrounded the tree and several bushes would have to be destroyed to get his equipment into the small space. After hiring him, he was out the next morning at 8:00 with his team to take the tree down. This took about 20 minutes and they cleaned up the space where the tree once stood and the street where their wood chipper was located. They were very personable, professional and reasonably priced. I would HIGHLY recommend!!

We have nothing but great things to say about Illinois Tree Service. Matt returned my call for an estimate within an hour after I placed it. He arranged to come out to our home (it may have been that same day -- not sure), asked for specifics on exactly what I wanted done, and gave me an estimate on the spot ($350). He also e-mailed me with insurance information. Before doing the job, I called Matt and asked if he would also come out and speak with my husband about it, and he was fine with doing that. Matt and his crew came on time and completed the job within two hours. They did a very professional job and excellent cleanup. I had asked him, if possible, to avoid letting branches fall on my impatiens flowers beneath the trees, and they even managed to do that. They trimmed back the trees exactly as far as we had asked them to do it.The estimate that Matt gave me for the job ($350) was over $600 less than the other two estimates that we received. One company that I called said that they would leave an estimate in our mailbox, not even considering that we might want to speak with them in person about the specifics of the job. So we felt really lucky to have found Illinois Tree Service. We highly recommend them and will use their services again.

They were very prompt. They were quick. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. They even ground down the stump.

Matt who did the estimate did the work along with his 4 man crew. They arrived a little after 7:20 A.M. He went over what had to be done and the cost for the project. Exactly what we agreed on. They arrived in 3 vehicles. Matt took down the 80 footer. the other trimmer worked on the other trees , one at a time., with me watching. The other trimmer, Roberto, would ask if would like me to remove other branches as I watched. The other 3 men removed the branches as the fell and took them to the shredder, one with Roberto, and the other 2 with Matt. Everyone was working. I gave everyone water as they worked. I watched them frrom start to finish. By 10:00 A.M. they were finished. Excellent on the clean-up. I paid Matt and tipped everyone. Excellent work and price for this kind of work. The danger involved etc. My wife came out when they were close to finishing and pointed out some other concerns she had. Roberto addrressed those issues with a smile on his face. She was very pleased with their work ethic as was I. These are the tree people. I compared all 4 bids. One was within $20 the others were within $1000.
