They showed up right on time on the day scheduled. They also cut up a large tree into smaller pieces so I could split it for firewood. The tree had broken off in a storm While not cheap, their the price was lower than other quotes I received so it was probably more likely that I wasn't aware of current prices. One tree was massive - 43 inches at the base and the other two, while not as large were quite tall. They were very friendly and worked hard. They cleaned up the area better than I expected. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

I had waited six months for another company to call me back for this job. Matt and John from Illinois Tree Service were very responsive to my call and gave a prompt estimate. They finished the job in one day and the yard was cleaned up well. Definitely would use them in the future.

Communication to get things set up was a little lacking but otherwise everything went well. The crew showed up within the promised window, knew exactly what was to be done, got to work and were done very quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards so there wasn't a big mess for us to have to clean up.

It went very well. I liked them a lot.

Excellent service, they cut down 2 very large trees and cleaned up everything when done. Would defiantly use them again.

Called for an estimate on 10/23/2014 Representative came out on 10/24/2014 (awesome) Young gentleman walked around property with me as I described what I needed done. He was a very nice guy but took no notes and was not prepared to give me a quote and said he would send to me in a few days and that they would not be able to perform the work for about 3 weeks which I told him I had no problem with. I gave him my card with all my contact information and I still have not heard from him or the company. In summary, I was very happy with the response, very surprised that the representative didn't take at least notes to quote the job and most disappointing is I never heard from them!!! I am not one to chase someone down for their business so I moved on and hired another company who responded accordingly, walked the property with me and gave me a quote there on the spot with a description of everything they would do. I have it scheduled for 3 weeks from now.

Matt Budin came to my house and provided a quote within two days of my initial call. Other services did not even respond for over a week. Team of 6 guys came and completed all of the work in about 2 1/2 hours. |They used a cherry picker to trim the large locust in the front. This was a lot of work as the tree had never been trimmed and was about 50 yrs old. They climed and removed two scotch pined that were tangeled in power wires in the back yard. They team was very efficient and professional. I think the team did a great job. They raked and cleaned up after the work. I would recomend them and will use them in the future for other work needed.

I contacted Matt for an estimate to remove two dying crab trees on our property. He responded promptly to line up the estimate early the next week. I agreed to the estimate which was considerably lower than one received earlier from a prominent tree service company in my area. The crew arrived within a week to remove the trees. They were very professional and efficient as a team in removing the trees, being careful not to damage other vegetation bordering this project. They were very neat cleaning up after the removal. I was extremely pleased with their service and definitely would use them in the future as needed.

I was very satisfied with the service! You would never know any work was done in that space, they did such a wonderful clean up job.

Matt and his crew arrived on the day and time agreed. They worked the entire day, thru the rain, to remove 2 twin trunk Ash trees, (essentially 4 trees). They cleaned up all of the debris before they left. If you look at the price only, it was extremely fair. The trees were in the back corner of a fenced in yard. The base diameter of the trees was 42", with each trunk approx. 24" and approx 60' tall. One tree hung over the neighbors garage. The trees were climbed, cut by hand(chainsaw) and manually hauled to the front of the house, where they were chipped. The only machine they could use was the stump grinder. The crew was very organized in their duties, and were very pleasant. They looked drowned from working in the rain, but smiled thru it all. They earned every dollar!! I would highly recommend them. Be aware that there are several companies called Illinois Tree service in the area. Make sure you use these guys. You won't be disappointed.

It went great! The appointment was scheduled for 8am. They called the day before and let us know they would have to push it back too around 9:15, which was not a problem. They came prepared and were ready to go right away. We walked through to make sure they knew what trees were being removed/trimmed/etc. The guys worked very quickly and very professionally. We are very satisfied with their work! The only 'gripe' I would have is that they did not remove all of the wood chips on the lawn. There were large patches of wood chips throughout (not just where a tree was cut). But for the price? Not a problem, and absolutely worth it.

They're very professional and very helpful. They're open to any suggestions I may have. I pretty much have an idea of exactly what they're going to do. Their professionalism stood out. They're there when they said they would be there. They took care of everything.

The guys drove up and greeted me with smiles and started working immediately. Two guys were climbers on ropes, and others directed the falling limbs and hauled them to the grinder. Work went quickly, and often, I was asked if enough clearance was made, and how I thought results looked. All the guys were very professional, energetic, and above all- pleasant. I am recommending them to my friend, and I would use them again !! I was very happy with this company.

Matt and his crew did the job in two hours. All limbs fell safely away from the house. There were no problems.

It went very well. They did what they said they would do and they did it in good time. They do good work and you have to be patient waiting for them to get to you. They follow through on what they say they will do and they are very reasonable in price.

Matt came with his crew and did a super awesome job. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest price and great work. Cleaned up all the grounds like you never knew he was here. I called his office and left a voicemail message at how happy we were with his company.

I could not be any happier with the service, professionalism and assistance they provided. Matt came out gave a very fair estimate, do to my personal schedule they came back three weeks later to do the job. The condition of the trees got worse with storms, he had to adjust his price, understandably. I was a little nervous but the price adjustment was reasonable and fair. He came out with seven guys, three trucks and 6 tree down and cleaned up in a little over 4 hrs. Cleaned up traffic and was super to work with. I would used them again no question and would not hesitate to recommend them

Illinois Tree Service removed an old messy tree from the backyard. I appreciate that Matt agreed to take the job last minute and was there when he said he would be. The took the tree down, ground the stump down and cleaned every thing up. He's the only one out three jobs I have hired to work on my house that was there when he said he would be, did what was promised, and was done when he said he would be. I would definitely hire this company again.

I obtained 6 quotes. Matt wasn't the cheapest but I felt he was the most honest about what it would take to remove the tree. I needed the work done quickly as my neighbor was hosting a wedding and the tree looked really bad. Matt's team removed the tree without making any mess at all in my neighbor's yard, and also came back promptly when I asked that he saw the stump down a little lower to the ground. I will definitely call Illinois Tree again.

The team came promptly at 8am as promised and worked throughout the day to remove all of the trees. They were gone by 5pm after grounding out two stumps and removing all of the debris. Aside from a few ground covering plants that got flattened a bit, the trees came down without damaging any fencing or property, even though a few of the trees were in tight areas. They did a great job...and I recommended them to my neighbor who in turn hired them to take some trees down on their property.

Everything went well as promised. The provider came on time and finished the job very professionally. Ryan even gave me some good suggestions on trimming and removing the bushes, which I took. Will use them again.

Everything went better than expected. Although the estimate was not the lowest (the lowest was $70 less), I trusted Matt, from Illinois Tree service the most. He answered all my questions and, unlike other companies, was not intimidated by the large branches that needed to be removed. The men from the company were very nice. They even carried my neighbors garbage cans to the garage for her. The men used ropes and climbed the tree to cut down the branches - very interesting to watch. When it came to shaping the trees, they knew exactly what to do. It turned out perfect. While they were there, several neighbors asked for estimates! I completely recommend the company to anyone who needs a tree service and plan to use them again in the future.
