This was a large job. They arrived on-time with two plumbers. I was very happy with their courtesy and professionalism. They did a very good job. I was billed the amount that I was quoted.

One repair was an emergency as it could have led, without repair, to damage to the wood beneath the siding and soffit area. The company was just fabulous. My husband plans on using them again.

It worked out fine. They were very good, very nice people, and easy to work with.

The work turned out fine. The work was satisfactory installation and it is working fine. The company was on time and they did call to follow up, showing they are concerned about customer relations.

I contacted DRF regarding my leaking water heater. The gas water heater had developed a leak and was no-longer heating water for the house. Initially the representative denied the sale and installation. Upon my request to speak to a manager, the manager "Mendie" acknowledged DRF installed the unit. Mendie informed me that they no longer install that brand of water heater and that I should call the warranty number on the unit; (my fiance claims that there is No warranty phone-number on the unit). Per additional questions, Mendie stated that they would have their warranty repair company contact me. - NO ONE HAS ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT ME REGARDING THIS ISSUE. DRF Installed the 75-gallon Water Heater at my residence on 09/23/2006. The water heater was a floor model, but still retained the 10-year warranty. My initial call to DRF regarding this repair/replacement issue was on 04/04/2011. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THAT DRF REPRESENTATIVES CLAIM OR PROMISE. THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR COMMITMENTS.

The work they do is good, but they're pricey. The total for this water heater was $800; they are subcontractors for a major retailer.

Initially spoke with a rep who came out to our house and gave me an estimate. We discussed various models that they carry. Downside to the company is that they won't install a unit that you buy. They will only install the units that they sell. Average price of this type of unit at Home Depot is 135 so really, I ended up paying at least 300 for 2 hours of labor....hence the C rating for cost. Anyway, the tech arrived on time, said it would take him about 2 hours and it was exactly that. He answered all of my questions (I'm pretty inquisitive) and seemed happy to do so. Despite the high cost of the work I was extremely happy with the professionalism and the quality. The new unit, ductwork and configuration looks really nice and is well constructed. Despite the high price I'd recommend them for this type of work.

I was there while they did that job. They are the supplier for Home Depot. There were no issues with the installation. It was a positive experience.

Jenny from DRF is the person who was handling all my questions about water heater installation/pricing/models/options etc. She is very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. I would give her and A+. While I decided to go with another plumber because I selected a different water heater manufacturer than DRF installs, my experience with Jenny / DRF was good!

I heard about this company as they do installation work for Home Depot. I received a prompt quote over the phone and was told I would be able to have a new water heater installed the same day. I shopped around for other quotes and availability but by far, DRF had the best product, price and timing for my needs. The installer arrived on time and took about one hour to perform the work. He did a great job and everything was done according to code. I did have two minor issues, first was the extra charge for two fittings to connect the water line to and from the heater that came to $50, I felt somewhat gouged on that (at least there was a $50 Angie's List coupon I used). Second is that they did not have anything to protect the floor when bringing in and taking out the heater. At least they told me ahead of time that they didn't have that. All in all, I have had a very positive experience with this company and wouldn't hesitate considering using them again for any of their wide variety of services.

All in all they did what they said they were going to do and I was happy with the job. They explained everything they were doing. Finished the job quickly and were very professional. A good job all around.

It was fine. We bough the water heater through Home Depot and they had DRF install it. They guy was fine. He did a good job. The only negatvething was that it was $200 more when they came out then when we bought it. They need to get with Home Depot to make sure everyone knows that may not be the final price.

It was fine. I wouldn’t say they were cheap but they did a very professional job and they were prompt. We are generally happy with result.

We received a response right away. We were told when Jeff was on his way, so we knew exactly what time he would be there. He was thorough, efficient and professional. Great value for the money.

All in all very happy with the service. I called to price out a new water heater and the person I talked to was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I scheduled an appointment and the techs were on time and very nice. I like doing handy man work myself, and considered tackling this project but I'm glad I didn't. I did hover around while they worked and asked questions and they were happy to answer my questions and didn't seem annoyed by my presence which I've gotten from other contractors when I'm trying to learn. The person on the phone did tell me there could be "added expenses" but they wouldn't know until the techs were on site. There were some added expenses because which added about $130 to the project, but the techs thoroughly explained why there would be these expenses and it made sense. All in all I was very happy with the work they did and I will use them again. (Actually going to call them today to schedule some HVAC work.)

We had an appointment for early afternoon on Saturday. The night before the company called and asked 15 minutes worth of detailed questions regarding our hot water heater installation. On Saturday afternoon we were informed that the installer had run into some issues elsewhere and would be delayed a bit. Around 4PM, I called DRF back and asked if he was still coming, they said "yes." As we figured that installation of a new toilet and hot water heater would take a few hours, I asked if she was sure and that i would understand if he needed to reschedule as it was getting late. She said he would be there. When he finally showed up at 5:30 PM, he looked at our basement and said he could not get the hot water heater down there by himself and we'd need to reschedule when two guys could come out. The night before I had told the woman who called that the hot water heater was in the basement and we lived in a 100 year old home. Next, we went to the powder room to have him install the toilet. He told us we had the wrong size. Strange as we had followed the measuring instructions on the Home Depot website and we bought a toilet that was the same size as the existing toilet. We also have the same model in another bathroom with the same rough in measurement. George from DRF called to reschedule and had a very bad attitude - all I wanted was assurance that I could be the very first appointment on the reschedule day and I asked for a discount on the toilet install as I thought that the guy just did not want to install it as it was so late on a Saturday night. He said "no." I asked to speak with his manager, he refused. I asked for the name of the president of the company, he said that they were a corporation and there was no one else I could talk with. A quick check of the Better Business Bureau confirmed that do have a president, Scott Schnurr. I left a message on his voice mail that was never returned. I called Home Depot who did get a customer service rep to call me to reschedule. In the guys that came out got the job done and said there was no reason why the toilet could not have been installed. But ... wasting my time by not sending the right staff to carry a 50 lb hot water heater into a basement, plumber #1's refusal to install the toilet, the very bad attitude of George and the company president not returning my call earn DRF a big "D."

They gave advice on how to increase the amount of hot water available and compared the alternatives (2 smaller vs on-demand vs 1 larger tank -- and returned the next day with all the appropriate parts and materials. Work was done quickly and well the first time!

They were very fast and pretty clean for taking out a big ugly water tank. They did very good quality work. I would recommend them and use them again.

Their price was better than anybody else's. They're very professional and they were very nice. They cleaned up after themselves. When something went wrong with my pipes they replaced me free of charge. They gave me estimates by email, which I loved. They don't do any extra work without you agreeing to it, no surprises.
