DRF Water Heating Solutions

We contacted through the Home Depot referral when our water heater broke. Customer service was helpful in explaining the process and warranty and was able to have it delivered the next day and accommodate our schedule. We called 3 firms and they were the lowest price by $200. They even followed up this week to see how the installation went and if we had any questions. I would recommend.

When I called the company, Maria was helpful in every way. She guided me in finding the model and size of water heater I currently had, called the dispatcher who confirmed that a plumber and assistant could come that evening. Andy G and Kyle arrived at the scheduled time, worked efficiently, were polite, explained the new heater they had installed, removed the old heater and left. I was relieved to have the new one installed and hot water back in the faucets 40 minutes later.

In a nutshell, TURN AND RUN from their service. They sent 2 plumbers to install 1 toilet, which should have been a flag. When they asked my husband to sign off on the work, he asked why the toilet was completely angled and the tank crooked. They said the bolts wouldn't let them put it in straight. Oddly enough, we had a toilet in the same place straight for 13 years prior. My 4 year old looked in the bathroom and said 'why is the toilet crooked?". After multiple calls to both HOME DEPOT where I bought it from and DRF I was told it would be a $500 - $750 repair to fix the flange, but they'd 'work with me on price'. So I would spend $1000 on installing a $200 toilet. On what universe does that make sense? Buyer beware, I won't be buying from Home Depot and I certainly won't ever hire DRF for anything again.

The provider sent 2 plumbers to perform the work. They had not made it into my unit (3rd floor) when they made a gesture regarding the flight of stairs. They hemmed and hawed about the unit and told me that in order for them to perform the work, all the electrical systems needed to be moved. When I told them that would not be feasible, they said that the new unit would not fit. Rather than give me options, they left. I was furious with their attitude and lack of professionalism. As a company owner, I would expect my team to do everything they could (within reason) to satisfy the customer. Had I been given some options, they would likely have been given the go-ahead. The moment they left, I called RJ Blanton. They arrived, assessed the work, provided a quote and immediately began the project.

They were phenomenal. I enjoyed their work very much. It was fun watching professionals do the job. Once they got there the work was done quickly. They agreed on Saturday, the only day I could do.

It went well. The first 2 guys that came out didn't have the water heater that we order, so they sent 2 people out for an emergency call and were here around 10pm so that I would have hot water. They had to repipe. His design and the care he took to make sure it wasn't leaking was impressive. They even cleaned up before they left.

The service turned out fine. They did a good job.They were on time.

They came they did the job and that's it.

Overall a good experience. We knew our water heater was getting old so we began investigating new models and cost about a month prior. We were referred to DRF via Home Depot. The customer service representatives at DRF were very helpful and nice to work with. They answered all our questions. As luck would have it, the water heater started leaking before final arrangements were made. We needed to take quick action. We called DRF before noon and they were able to replace the water heater that day. Both Rich and Andrew did a nice job replacing the unit. They ensured that the right water heater was installed.

Rich had installed our water heater a few months ago so it was nice to see a familiar face when we needed a repair to a pipe that had leaked and corroded. He worked quickly and gave me a repeat customer discount. I would not hesitate to use DRF again.

They were able to install the heater on the same day I called. There were two people here doing the work and they did a good job cleaning up after themselves.

Kevin L. came out to re-connect our plumbing and install our new faucet after we had our kitchen countertop replaced -- the countertop installation went way late into the evening on Friday, so Kevin came out on Saturday to get us up and running again. He was punctual, cheerful, thorough, and got the work done in good order with no muss and no fuss. A great experience all the way around.

Antyan and Tom Judd arrived very promptly and really courteous. It started to downpour really hard outside, and they were still very pleasant, even in these working conditions. provideI receiced prices from private plumbers along with Home Depot, Lowes and Sears. Home Depot referred me to DRF and they were the one company that responded timely and followed up. I did some research on water heaters and felt that Rheem provided the quality and warranty that I wanted. DRF followed up and answered all my questions. I provided the dates that would work for me and DRF was able to schedule accordingly. Antaun and Andrew arrived on schedule and did the installation professionally and timely. They cleaned the area very well. I would recommend DRF.

We purchased a toilet through Home Depot and we needed someone to install it. Home Depot connected us with DRF Trusted Property Solutions for install. They called the same day we purchased the toilet to schedule the install. DRF called the morning of the appointment to let me know the name of my plumber (Andy G.) and that he was on route to my home. He arrived early, was friendly, and had all of his supplies. He had us review the paperwork, he explained what he was going to do, what would happen if he found anything else that needed to be fixed. He went right to work. I was concerned about removal of the toilet (damage to the floor if he dropped it or something), but I had no reason to worry. He put the old toilet into a plastic bag and carried it out no problem. He cleaned up after himself...honestly, it didn't even look like I had any work done except for the new toilet looking fabulous. I couldn't be happier with their service.

Our hot water heater died and drained all over the basement floor. DRF had been recommended to us by a friend so we called. In order to get this work done we needed a permit. DRF even took care of that. They sent the paperwork right to the permit place and it was ready to go when we got there. They arrived within an hour or so to do the work. Andy and Nick were friendly, professional and answered our many questions. They explained how the new hot water heater worked, the proper way to maintain it and told us if we had any questions to just call. It was nice to work with professionals who took pride in their job and weren't pushy, trying to convince us we needed more than we did. I would highly recommend.

We were already ripped off. They sent someone who didn't know anything about sump pumps. It was raining at that time. He was an inexperienced person. They sent another one and it was after their working hours so they charged me an emergency call service. That was terrible. Everything was fixed. The inexperienced person made me go and buy the materials. It wasn't the right material so I had to return it back. It was just like a nightmare. I tried to reach their boss but they didn't give me a call. My basement was flooded at that time. I had to work with them. I couldn't look for somebody else. I would definitely not use them in the future.

They did a really good job. We bought it through Home Depot and they were their installers. They were very neat and clean. They cleaned up after themselves after they did the install. We were very happy with the product.

I called DRF on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM for help with our busted water heater. The woman I spoke to on the phone was helpful and gave a detailed quoted with several options. I thought about it and called back to confirm. I got several follow up calls to give me the status of the install. By 2 PM, the installer (Tom R) arrived with an assistant. They were pleasant, hardworking, and efficient, so got the new water heater installed quickly. I've never used DRF before and trusted the on-line reviews. I'm so glad that I did! They saved the day. They're a fair, professional company so I will definitely use them again.

Could not be more happy with the service from Tom and DRF. I had asked for a number of things to be looked at, including my garbage disposal. I was fully expecting to need a new one but within a few minutes Tom had it working, where others I am sure would have been installing a new one. He also replaced a couple hoses on my washer, replaced a sink pipe, fixed a running toilet and looked at my jacuzzi pump and gave some great advice along the way. I was expecting to be out a bunch of money, but not the case at all. Tom was along very friendly and professional. I highly recommend.

We purchased our new tankless water heater through Home Depot and DRF was automatically selected by them to be our installer. Their salesmen are slick and didn't thoroughly explain the costs or installation process. Getting the rebates and tax credit forms were difficult and DRF was not very helpful in that process. The installers from DRF were good, punctual and did a good job despite working for a poorly managed process. The tankless water heater by Rheem is awesome and we highly recommend getting one. I would call Top Tec in Libertyville rather than go through Home Depot and their selected contractors.

the DRF technician showed up as scheduled and performed the work quickly. When he was done he cleaned up the area, hauled the old water heater out and fully explained how to operate the water heater. He was very conscious about not getting anything on the carpet. I appreciated that the DRF dispatcher kept me up to date with expect arrival times and that they contacted me via email to ensure that I was satisfied with their work. I was so impressed with DRF's work that I have already engaged them for additional services.

Prompt, courteous very thorough. Very impressive. They were contracted by Home Depot but we would use them again.

They arrived, introduced themselves, and explained things that could go worn on an old installation. Then they worked very hard to make sure nothing did. Put down cloth to work on and keep house clean. Very polite.

The ladies at the telephone were awesome. I thought the installation price was high for an hour and half worth of work. The installer was professional but i am not sure if i really needed an expansion tank which brought me up to the next package. For 23 years we didnt have it but he said we needed it to be up to code. Both of the men were very nice.
