Rich was careful about details. For example, he made sure my light was well-centered. He was very communicative in texts, and responsive to questions. Showed up on time and was fully prepared for the job. Did a good job in covering up floors and counters while working. Very polite and relaxed.

First of all, on-time, with a phone call beforehand letting me know he was on his way. Took care not to track in mud (from backyard security installation), cleaned up and disposed of old fixtures/garbage. Very pleasant

Rich is an awesome guy. He answered all my questions about updating our main circuit panel and was open and honest with his answers. I would have him back again as we have other electrical work that needs to be done next Spring.

Rich was very responsive to our Angie's List Big Deal and scheduled us right away. He arrived right on time and was able to complete the project within the 2 hour time frame. He was also able to look at something in the electrical panel and fix it. The only additional costs were for parts. We found him to be polite, organized, and efficient. I have already contacted him to do work at another location.

Rich responded promptly to my purchase of his special deal. We set a date and discussed the work to be done. I am changing my home light switches to rocker panels. I have four switches in my front entryway that needed to be replaced. We also discussed reconnecting one of the switches to the ceiling fan light at the top of the stairs ( currently works by remote only. We agreed that I would purchase the materials needed. Due to a scheduling conflict on my part, we had to reschedule. Rich arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up afterward. We discussed other projects and potential costs. .Rich was friendly, proficient and professional. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with electrical projects.

It went great. A very nice gentleman arrived, did the work cleaned, up behind himself and was on his way. Smooth easy transaction.

He was very responsive. When I spoke with him and he was doing the work he indicated that the job I needed would require additional work and additional cost. I was comfortable with that. I thought he had to get an itemized estimate for what I needed done. I hadn't heard back so I contacted him and he seemed as if he wasn't confident to do the work so he suggested that I hire another company. I appreciated his honesty.

Courteous, job completed without issue, however I did not appreciate (nor would I recommend this provider) his billing. He started 10 minutes after the hour and finished 2 hours later and 35 minutes after the hour. Therefore he worked 2 hours and 25 minutes - yet he billed me for 2 hours and 45 minutes. A full 1/3 hour more than he worked.

The work was completed quickly and efficiently. It's good to have an electrician that I can depend on from here going forward. I can't recommend them enough!

Can't say enough good things about Rich. Our planned electrician kept putting us off and after a week of him cancelling us we found Rich. We told him how excited our kids were about our new hot tub that is still not hooked up. He was able to get us in THE NEXT DAY! He was wonderful explaining how hot tubs work and what he had to do. I would 150% recommend Rich!

Rich was extremely approachable and easy to work with--understanding that I may have preferences in how the lights were hung. What I really appreciated is that he told me up front what was necessary vs. "nice have" in terms of some of the wiring issues. In some cases, he was able to provide a more affordable solution. I appreciated that honesty--it's rare these days. In booking the appointment, I shared the inspection report and he asked me to take some pictures to ensure he had the right parts. He was very well prepared, which is more than I can say about most vendors. After dealing with so many vendors I had to hound in order to get them to complete their commitment, it was very refreshing to work with someone who takes his reputation and brand seriously. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rich. In fact, I'm contacting him again to do repairs on another property. Also, I should mention that I shared my home inspection report with detailed information about the repairs with several of the top-rated vendors in the Chicagoland area...Most replied that they'd have to "get in there to quote it," which is completely fair. Rich was the only one who not only provided me with a "ballpark estimate" (provided everything was as expected) but also asked additional questions. This saved me a lot of time in vetting vendors.

Mr. Mohlman arrived after calling ahead ( I like that!) and got right to work installing the fan, which needed to be installed through the attic. Although a messy job, (insulation recently installed), he cleaned up thoroughly and immediately got to work installing the fixture. Great job done quickly and professionally. I'd call him again in a snap to do almost anything that requires electrical work or remodelling.

Rich arrived promptly and went right to work. One ceiling fixture was a bit tricky over a staircase, but he handled it without a problem. Running power to the A/V system involved tapping into a box in the basement, and running conduit/greenfield to a new box in a cabinet bordering the fireplace. Nicely done. I usually do electrical work myself, but neck issues precluded that this time. Rich was very professional and courteous, and I would definitely use his services again.

Usually I do all my own wiring but these last few outlets we needed done before closing had me confused. Rich went right to work and made it look easy. He was pleasant, punctual, professional and priced right. Within an hour he was done and cleaned up and was on his way. I would use him again in a second and will recommend him to family and friends. It's nice to know there are people like this still doing things right.

All fixtures were replaced without any problems. Rich was efficient and friendly. He cleaned up after and made sure I was happy with the work.

He worked fast, was very professional and friendly. The installation and replacement took 1.25 min. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. I definitely will recommend him to friends.

When a roommate decided to "fix" a problem he was having with a ceiling fan in his bedroom he ended up knocking out power to half our house. We could not figure out the problem so we used Custom Power Electric to help. Rich diagnosed the problem and fixed it restoring the power. He was easy to work with from start to finish.
