I had been thinking of finishing my basement for at least 20 years, no kidding. Something snapped me into action last year and I started interviewing contractors. I went through five before I met Sean Schwartz. At our first meeting, Sean looked over my basement and made four suggestions that no other contractor had thought of plus he filled me in on building code regulations that none of the other contractors had mentioned. He then submitted a fair and reasonable proposal for the project that I accepted. Work commenced the first full week of November, hummed along steadily through the holidays and into the new year. Sean kept me apprised of what work was to be done and when it would be done. He estimated that he would need six to seven weeks to complete the work. It took a couple more weeks than that but I dragged my feet on some issues. Not his fault. His crew members are top-notch. Every one of them was polite to a fault and treated my home with respect. They showed up when they were supposed to and left at a reasonable time. At the end of each day the work site was neatened up and vacuumed. If there were questions or concerns they immediately contacted me, explained the problem and gave me options to correct it. I think the quality of their work is excellent as do my friends who have seen it. They've commented on how crisp and clean the lines are, how well-made the custom electronics cabinet is, and all are impressed with the paint job. Sean's crew was tasked with making a very difficult deep shade of red look good. They knocked it out of the park. After the dust settles and I catch my breath I'll have Sean and the guys come back and do my first floor re-hab.

Sean and his entire team were fantastic. They do very careful and high quality work. The finished work product exceeded my expectations. He kept me up to date with timelines and decisions that needed to be made. He expected excellence from his staff and they certainly delivered. I trust him, they worked when we moved out. I am just thrilled with my "new" old home!

The company was very professional. The workers were very hardworking and kind. We felt our basememt was a bit on the pricey side, but did have a lot of upgrades and we thought it was worth the amount to have it done with people we could trust in our home and with the level of professionalism they had. We would recommend this company and use them again.
