Mark did not initially respond to Angie's list messaging, so I called him the next day. Poor guy was reeling from a flu and said he'd try to fit me in after seeing the doc. Luckily, he was available the next afternoon and was well enough to tackle the job. Turns out, it was a leaky wax ring. He knocked it out in no time and cleaned up as he went. I will be hiring him again!

Mark replaced the cartridge. Removing the old one was very difficult because it was old. He is a very nice and very considerate man. He was very patient in explaining to me what he did and how it worked. Will definitely be calling him again.

After 7inches of constant heavy rainfall, our sump pump & battery backup gave out. In spite of a very busy schedule during the week due to flooding issues in several areas, Mark was still able to help us. He installed a new sump pump & battery backup. He is very knowledgeable and has an excellent grasp on plumbing services\sump pump systems. His work ethic is characterized by excellent attention to detail and completeness. He explained everything about the new system, maintenance, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to request for his services again.

We had an emergency with the old water heater where it starts to leak on Sunday morning and in a cold Chicago morning. We called Mark and he promptly returned the call and came by to look at the issue. He arrived on-time and very professional; he identified the issue and advised us to get a new water heater. He quickly then obtained the part, switched the old one, and made sure that everything is working correctly (tested gas connection, the water temperature, and tested all the functionality). He is also very clean in performing the work. Overall, we were very satisfied that we found Mark and he is very helpful to help us during the Sunday issue. He also replaced old water valve around the water heater to make sure that we do not have any problems in the near future. We would recommend Mark's work and service on plumbing issues. Thank you!

I was so impressed with Mark even from the first phone call. I had to leave a message on his machine and he called back with a concrete estimate within 30 minutes. He coached me through a few things I should check to ensure my garbage disposal really wasn't operating. All the other plumbers I called to get estimates from (5 others) didn't bother going above and beyond in that way, so I really appreciated it. He called to tell when he would arrive and, despite awful icy road conditions, arrived right on time. Mark will absolutely be the plumber I call next time I have any issues due to his professionalism, pleasantness, and willingness to go above and beyond.

Mark arrived on time, analyzed the issue and provided an estimate to fix it. He fixed the leaky joint on hot water line and addressed all my questions. The price charged was reasonable. I would definitely consider him for any future plumbing needs.

Mark with Choice plumbing responded back very quickly, he was very professional. When he arrived at our home he introduced himself, he removed his shoes and, we went to the basement where he explained in detail what the problem was. He provided options we could take to rectify the problem and we chose to replace the entire pump.

Mark arrived right on time and promptly got to work investigating the situation, examining all possible causes of the leak, and then fixing what he determined to be a leaky tub drain. I called Mark to get some advice on water leaking in the basement of our daughters home. He told me it was probably the sump pump causing the problem. He quoted me a price for a new sump pump and my son-in-law decided to put it in himself. I called Mark back to let him know and asked if he could replace our ejector pump for the same cost and he told me he could. I had the pump for over 20 years and figured it was time to change it before I had problems. Since Mark took the time to help with the problem in our daughters home, I decided to have him install my pump. He came out and did a great job. I would use him again for any future plumbing needs.

Great service. Came within an hour of my call. Professional and neat. Took off shoes upon entering house and appropriately protected floor where he was working. Explained what had to be done. Showed me old damaged parts. Explained fix. Was very upfront with cost and never tried to adjust the price. I am a very picky homeowner and would have him in my home again without thinking twice. Felt like he was fair, professional, and an expert in his field. Very pleasant experience.
