Since sump and drainage tiles were present and had been working during the previous night's rainstorm, crawlspace was cemented, no water inside the basement or wet carpeting, no exterior foundation cracks were visible, gutters were buried, slope of land and placement of landscaping did not contribute to water issues, technician felt mustiness resulted from insufficient dehumidifier capacity. He was prompt, courteous and professional. Since our basement was finished (insulation bats between studs, and drywalled), I would have liked to have known there was no excessive moisture within the wall contributing to the musty odor. I thought an actual measurement of moisture in the drywall could be made by meter, but I must be mistaken.

The injected the cracks and took their time to ensure that they didn't miss any cracks and even moved the washer and dryer to inject a crack behind. After the job they explained what I can expect. We had an issue with our floor patch and they responded in a couple of days and re-installed the epoxy on the floor.

Inspection was as expected, I already knew there was an issue. I didn't realize sump pump had stopped. Technician was able to get the sump pump working ,which had nothing to do with the Big Deal! I received a quote for services needed. very reasonable. And he also called to come in early, after having a cancellation. Thanks

I neglected to write this review in May when the work was done so I'm foggy on names and dates, but suffice it to say that everyone that I worked with at Crack Attack was professional and responsive. In addition, their work was very thorough and solved my issue. Brief background: I called them during the process of selling my home. Unfortunately, the home inspection found questionable cracks that needed to be further inspected for possible repair, as a condition of the sale. I called Crack Attack because of an AL coupon for the inspection. They were able to schedule the inspection quickly and at a time that was convenient for me. While I had hoped for a diagnosis of "no repair needed" Crack Attack identified three cracks that needed repair. At that time, the issue was clearly explained to me as well as the proposed solution. He used terms that I understood (while not being condescending) which I appreciated. The price quoted for the repair was more than I wanted to pay...but quite frankly *anything* was more than I wanted to spend given that I was selling. That said, the price was completely fair for the work that needed to be done. The repair appointment was scheduled as easily and quickly as the inspection. The technician arrived on time, was clearly identified as a Crack Attack employee which I appreciate, he did a walk-through before starting the job to ensure that we were in sync, and then he estimated the time to completion. During the course of completing the repairs, he detected another small crack and he went above and beyond by fixing it. Granted, it was small and didn't add a lot of time or effort--but it's simply something that he could have ignored and he did not. I appreciate the commitment to excellence. The one thing that I'll point out is that the fumes were strong and while there was no avoiding them, they were unexpected. All said, it was a positive experience from start to finish. The job was completed well, the price was right and I felt like everyone that I dealt with was ethical.

The associate was very kind and informative. Didn't try to force any services on us, which was quite refreshing. Would definitely use them in the future if a problem arises!

They were punctual and professional to my relative who was present for the inspection. They explained the problem to her, but also called back twice to explain the problem to me (I wasn't home to take the first call and they left a message). I was very pleased with the initial consultation and plan on having them do the work at some point in the future.

Immediately following my inquiry for service, someone was out the next day to give an estimate. They were professional and knew we were on a budget. They worked within our price range and gave us a better price and value than we had estimated. Actual service was provided within 3 days of given estimate. Punctual, professional and reasonably priced.

From the first consultation with Tim to the completion of the job we couldn't have been more satisfied. Tim assessed our situation and proposed a very sensible solution. The price was very competitive and the work was done exactly as described. Tim was always available for consulting leading up to the job and was always pleasant and straightforward. He gave us confidence in an otherwise uneasy situation.

They came as scheduled, and the work lasted as expected. Can't tell how well it works until we have some really heavy rains. So far, so good. The only negative, and it' really can't be helped due to the nature of the work, is that I had to clean up some mud on the patio. But the team lead was cognizant to ensure he did inside work before doing outside work so as not to get mud in my basement.

It is going to take a while to get it fixed. They are working hand in hand with a plumber. They communicate very well. They looked at it and told us what was going on and everything that would need to be done and how it was being done. They gave us options, we ended up just going with the whole thing because we didn't want to be upset 10 years down the line that we didn't do something.

Tim came out to my house twice, once to provide an estimate and the second time to have me sign the papers to have the work completed. He answered all of my waterproofing questions and clearly walked me through the work that was to be completed to solve my issues. I had about 5 other contractors out to bid on this job and the price that he quoted was much better than the competition. Tim's crew of 4 or 5 guys showed up on time at approximately 8AM and completed the job at approximately 7PM. They completed all of the pre-work of moving our basement belongings away from the walls and covering them so that they would not get full of dust. This work was completed during the winter, so they had to shovel a path from the street to the basement window well to move materials and concrete into the home. After completion, his guys cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned up our kitchen floor that had gotten pretty dirty from all the work going on throughout the day. We expected the dust to be contained to the basement, but unfortunately over the next day our furnace had coated a majority of our home with a layer of dust that it pulled from the basement. We contacted Tim about this issue and he promptly sent Merry Maids out, at his expense, to clean up the unexpected mess. Today our new draining system is working beautifully. It has not rained yet, but with the melting snow our new sump system is running quite often to pump out all of the standing water that must have been lingering under our foundation. I am very satisified with the work completed and glad that I chose Crack Attack. I would highly recommend them and would confidently use them again for future waterproofing projects.

I left a message and got a call back immediately (within 10 minutes) from Tim. He was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. I wanted quotes on a home I am buying and he was willing to look at the pictures of the issue first before scheduling an appointment so that we can get an idea of what the repairs will be. If we successfully close on this home I will definately be using this company for the repairs that will be needed.

The basement was beautiful. The outside work was sloppy and they missed places. I had to call them twice before they would come back to fix the problem. After they fixed it it was satisfactory. They were prompt.

All I did was pay for an “evaluation”—essentially an estimate. The aim was to prevent basement seepage. The plan proposed was to patch possible cracks from the inside, which seems to be less good than from the outside but better than nothing. However, this involved my removing drywall from the basement wall to determine whether there were cracks and then replacing it. Later I found another person who dug from the outside, patched a number of cracks and covered the outside of the basement wall with a protective substance. This is, I have heard, a better technique and it also didn’t involve removing and then replacing drywall from the inside.

It went well. I did not buy any additional services. I liked the guys honesty and did not try to sell me anything. They were prompt, conscientious and listened to me. They told me the pros and cons of this work and they gave me an honest opinion. It was easy to get scheduled. I would recommend them to anyone.

The big deal went quite well. They came within a week I purchased the big deal and they guy who came over was neat. He was very personable. He had conversation before and after the work was done. I have no complaints. They have given 100% guarantee that they would come over and do it again if it leaks and there is no chance that it would ever leak.

We have not yet used the deal. The staff with the company has been very understanding of our circumstances. We have been having other work done first. They have also been very polite and courteous. They are very accommodating and understanding. Even though the coupon has expired they are still willing to honor the coupon for us.

They cleaned up. They put everything nicely no one would know we had it done.
