Description of Work: Tim from Crack Attack was wonderful with my 80+ mother when he came out to give us a quote. He was kind and patient, explaining everything and listening patiently to her recount 50 years of history in the house, little of which was relevant to the issue at hand. He gave us a great quote and an excellent Angie's List discount. Mom hasn't acted on it yet, so I cannot comment on the work, but our experience so far has been top notch.

Description of Work: They enclosed our crawlspace with insulation and a plastic cover. We had a couple of cracks they fixed and then encapsolated the whole crawlspace. |They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: Took over a week to get a call back for an estimate. After that I was very satisfied with everything. They did an inspection of our basement and then discussed options for the problem area. We both agreed that putting in an external shield on the foundation wall was the best option. Price was good and it seems to have so far fixed the leak problem. Work was performed a day after the scheduled date due to worker sickness, but I was informed in advanced and rescheduled for a day later.

Description of Work: There was water entering in the area of two window wells - one in a finished basement rec room, the other in a partially below-grade garage. It took several calls to finally get someone scheduled to come out to examine the problem areas. When they came back to do the work, they could only do the garage because they'd neglected to tell me I'd need to get my A/C units disconnected and moved to do the rec room window. | |The garage repair involved installing a drain, and running a pipe through the concrete wall below the window to connect to an existing sump drain line. The caulk they used around the pipe failed with the very first rainfall (just a day or two later), but they came back and re-caulked it with different material without any problem (just the inconvenience of having to get them back). | |The rec room repair finally got done, and I haven't observed any more leakage problems, though we haven't had a really heavy rain since the repair was done. Keeping my fingers crossed. | |Overall opinion - they seem to do good work, and are easy to talk to, but they seem to have a lot of communication problems within their office. The guys in the field and the guys & gals in the office don't always seem to know what the others have said.

Description of Work: I had them come out to evaluate my basement and give me a quote as I was getting some water in the corner of my basement. A very nice young man came out, said the "fix" was a drain system put in an addition that we added 15 years previously. I was hesitant to spend that much money and in hindsight should have gotten a second opinion. But I was anxious to fix the problem and they seemed anxious to do the work so I scheduled the work. It was a big messy job that jackhammered up the concrete floor. Weeks later I had water come in where it had been coming on before. A friend looked and saw the place where the old and new foundation met had separated and that is where the water was coming in. I also talked to the contractor who did the addition 15 years before and he told me there was a drainage system put in at that time. So now I have both an interior and exterior drainage system. They did come back and sealed the separated foundation from the outside and left a huge mess. I took photos and sent them to crack attack and my salesman apologized profusely and had the crew come back and they left it in a better way. In the end I paid a lot of money for work I didn't need but they did fix the one area for no additional $. Next time I'll make sure to get a second opinion.

Description of Work: We had a very old, mud filled crawl space. They cleaned, removed mold, sealed cracks, leveled, put in drain tiles, poured concrete floor. EXCELLENT job!

Description of Work: Crack Attack made short work of repairing my small and annoying leak and epoxy treated the entire crack, not only where it had a slow leak. They arrived on-time, and were professional. I'm not sure what services charge, but this seemed a bit steep for a quick job that was not urgent. Scheduling was about 2 weeks in-advance. As long as it doesn't leak again, I am satisfied. Overall: A.
