After contacting Crack Attack Team we had Tim come out and give us a free estimate for foundation repair. He was very professional and gave us his honest opinion which was that we needed to have steel piers installed to repair our sinking foundation. After getting our estimate we decided to call around to a few other companies and check on prices. Crack Attack was by far the best bang for our buck and we decided to go with them. When the guys came out to do our job they arrived promptly when they said they would. Our job was completed within the time frame that they gave us and all of the guys working at our home were great! I am so happy that we chose to go with Crack Attack Team and would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a great company to do great work!

The Crack Attack team did a great job with providing a rapid response for a quote and once they had the contract, their workmen were prompt, courteous, and efficient. The work ended up taking longer that originally estimated; the team stayed onsite and finished the job in one day.

Sean C came out for an inspection, and was on time, courteous, and very professional. He confirmed that it was actually damage from a burst pipe, and not a basement seal issue. He kindly walked the perimeter of the house with me to verify the integrity of the basement and pumps, with his honest opinion. Although this time Crack Attack did not have business, I would certainly recommend them from this perspective, and will call them again in the future.

It was fine. Sean was prompt and courteous. He assessed the situation and determined it was the ejector pit pump and a backed up AC drain pipe. A plumber I had already hired confirmed the situation. I appreciate the fact he gave me an honest opinion and didn't try to upsell me something I didn't need. For that reason I would recommend them to anyone.

Tim and his crew responded quickly when asked for a quote. Price of quote was reasonable, considering costs associated with working with concrete suppliers. Actual workday showed up when they said they would, had a great crew, explained in detail everything he was doing. Tim also gave me opinions on what to do with other issues in our basement. They cleaned up everything when they were done. Summary, impressed with Tim's knowledge of work performed, appreciated the education while work performed, and his crew showed respect needed for professional residential work.

I called Crack Attack and Tim came out. He’s a very friendly and knowledgeable tech. He thoroughly inspected the property from outside and in. He identified the problem and was able to repair it the same afternoon! Thanks to Crack Attack I now have a dry apartment that is generating rental income, all for a tiny fraction of what those other guys charged me for the wet sand! I’ve recommended Crack Attack to family and friends and I highly recommend them to you if you need to fix foundation cracks and seepage once and for all – without breaking the bank. Thanks Crack Attack, Bill
Description of Work: I’m a property manager in the Chicagoland area. Unfortunately, I had to deal with basement seepage. I Googled basement seepage waterproofing companies and called a couple. One company told me I would need to tear out the kitchen, bathroom and stairwell…he gave me a quote that was in the tens of thousands! The other company I called told me they have a proprietary sand / clay material that they pump along the foundation. The sand / clay is supposed to work its way into the cracks and stop the seepage. The representative was nice and had a diagram illustrating how the process works along with customer testimonials. That sand did NOT work! I was out $2,000 and even worse, I was losing rental income from that unit.

I first tried to get them to honor the warranty, but they wanted an additional $200 to repair a crack that should have been covered under the warranty. I was even willing to split the difference but they refused to fix the failed repaired crack for less than $200. I would not recommend Crack Attack.

Crack Attack Team stands behind our Customer service and Warranty. Our crew was asked to paste a hairline crack as a courtesy at no cost while repairing a crack that was scheduled. We are unfortunately unable to warranty cracks the are a surface epoxy seal only with out an injection. The member was made aware of this at the time of service and the member agreed. We do apologize and appreciate you taking the time to write your experience with our company. Crack Attack Team.

Crack Attack sealed my crawl space, which was just bare earth, with a liner to prevent moisture and mold from seeping into the house. There were 2 problems. First, a home inspector came and noticed that they did not seal an entire side of one wall, which would have allowed moisture to leak through. Crack Attack took care of this within a week. Second, my door bell to the back door stopped working a week after they did the crawl space, when a guest rang it. The front door bell worked, so the chime was fine. The electrician who came to fix the problem said that the wire(located in the crawl space) to the back door bell had been severed. When I contacted Crack Attack they initially refused to take responsibility. Since they were the only ones in the crawl space they must have damaged the wires while working there. After about 3 months and about 20 phone calls they finally reimbursed me for the door bell repair. It was very frustrating and I would not use them again.

AWESOME. It has been a year since our work was done by Crack Attack and we have not had ONE DROP of water in what used to be a constant-wet basement. We have remodeled it into a bedroom and office and it is absolutely dry and mold-free. I cannot say enough good things about Crack Attack. I have called them back to do more work to some crawlspace areas.

They came out and looked around. They told me the leak we because of basement wall and floor was allowing a small leak to let water in. No quick fix could be done and last. Gave us estimate for drain tiles that we have not done.

My wife and I recently purchased our first home, and the spacious basement was one of the primary reasons we decided to purchase this particular home. However, when we first moved in, there was a very bad rainstorm. We were very dismayed to find out that the basement got water and seepage due to several cracks in the foundation. We were wondering if we had made the wrong choice with this home purchase. The cracks were behind the wall paneling, and not visible from the outside, so the inspector was not able to detect them during the inspection. Also, the previous owner was unethical in not disclosing the damage that they clearly knew about. Its funny how things work out, because that first night rainstorm turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Luckily we were able to get the cracks repaired before we installed carpeting, bought a new couch, a new television etc. When we initially decided to get the cracks repaired, we contacted several companies for estimates. The cost effective estimate and their A rating make us decide to go with Crack Attack. Let me just say, we clearly made the right choice. After getting the quote, Crack Attack team dispatched Jason to do the actual repairs. Jason was amazing. He was courteous, professional, prompt, and even showed up earlier than promised. Also, he finished the job in less time than we were initially quoted. Jason really went above and beyond during his time here. He even went outside to mix the chemicals and glue as he knew we had an 8 month old baby in the house. Obviously this is someone who takes the time and thinks about the best way to service the customer, not just get in, out and on to the next job. The cracks were repaired to our satisfaction, and Jason also installed a sump pump for us, which works perfectly. Jason came out on Tuesday June 21st 2016, and there was a severe thunderstorm with very heavy rain on Wednesday June 22nd 2016. The basement was bone dry before, during, and after the storm. Jason did such an amazing job that his work stood up to even the worst storm Chicago could throw at it. Not one drop got in, and that is about as bad as it will ever rain here. We were very satisfied with the quality of his work, and his professionalism. Additionally, Jason even personally followed up with us after the thunderstorm to ensure that our basement did not get water and that the pump was working satisfactorily. Again, we really feel that Jason went above and beyond, and truly takes pride in his work, to ensure that his customers are satisfied. We would certainly recommend the Crack Attack team, and specifically Jason, for any of your basement waterproofing needs. Our only regret is that we could not assign Jason a higher grade than an A. His work and his professionalism are an A+++++ and beyond. Our basement is bone dry, and we are now excited about our new home again. Thank you Jason!
Description of Work: The provider repaired several cracks in our foundation, and also installed a sump pump. Additionally, the provider repaired cracks that had been patched (poorly) by the previous owners.

Originally I hired Crack Attack to waterproof my basement with the intention of finishing it. My basement didn’t really leak, but only during heavy storms and everything was pitched to the drains. Recommendation was to put in a sump pump. Once Crack Attack started, I inquired if it was possible to drill down deeper to gain ceiling height – extra cost of $4000, so I went for it. Village inspection wasn’t passed initially. They made several adjustments just to pass the inspection. The basement still leaks – on the circuit breaker box which isn’t safe. In addition, the fasteners for the fabric against the wall have come undone and now there is sewer gas smell. The only way to fix this temporarily is to dump water down the sewer drain to cap this off and it was discovered that the floor isn’t pitched correctly and this is a new floor they poured as part of the job. Not only does it smell, but the water flows back into the basement instead of down the drain – puddles where there were none before. Myself, boyfriend, and attorney have reached out, however no response has been received. They only seem to be responsive when you are persistent and waste all of your energy trying to contact them. To a point, it gets exhausting….this was not a cheap job. I really just want what I paid for – the basement leaks more than before they did the work. In addition – I should not have to waste time on my lunch break, or have other people contact them with no response. This company has no integrity, nor do I even trust them to correct the work – I really don’t want to work with them again or anyone else. They are shady.
Description of Work: Hired to waterproof basement so that this could be finished. Project evolved to install sump pump and remove floor to increase ceiling height.

Everything went smoothly. Jason came to look at the water seepage issue and recommended the draintile installation to correct the problem. I didn't feel any sales pressure from him. The job was scheduled for the next week and they were in and out within a few hours. The area was about 10 feet. They had to jackhammer the concrete out, install the draintile, then poured the concrete back on. The work came with a lifetime warranty.

We noticed a leak in the basement on a seem that look like it had previously been patched. We were getting a large puddle when it heavily rained. Someone was able to make it out same day despite being very busy with the heavy rains----we are new homeowners and they must have sensed our panic! They came out, gave an estimate and a plan on how to mend. Given our foundation is porous they gave us a plan on patching and if that didnt work creating drainage in the basement. Someone was back within a week to patch the area.
