I work with individuals with developmental delays in philo.. Some things that the average individual may take for granted these guys seem to cherish.. Every single week my residents gather in front of the window just to wave at the men picking up the trash. And every single week these men make it a point to turn and wave with a heart-felt smile on their faces.. Having no idea what this small gestures does to effect our day.. I just wanted to show my appreciation to the men on that truck.. You have no idea how much a smile and wave can change someones day for the better..
