D & R TREE & BUSH SVC

The owner and his three helpers came on 18 October 2010, and since the tree was so tall I figured the'd bring it down in sections the way the previous owner did. But they brought the complete tree down, falling into my neighbor's yard with several branches puncturing the ground and breaking their underground tv cable wire. They trimmed most of the branches from the trunk and piled them in my yard. He asked for payment since he had some monetary problems and needed the money right away. I paid him still thinking he ran the business the way the previous owner did. That was a big mistake. He told me he'd have the tree gone and the stump removed soon. They did NOT get all branches and wood cleared until 23 October 2010. AND THE TRUNK STILL IS NOT REMOVED ONE YEAR LATER (today is 18 October 2011). I like this kid and realize he's had some family problems, but I don't think I'll use them again for anything, certainly not for tree removal. It's now 13 January 2012, and I still have not heard from this guy. I call every few months and leave a message on his answering machine. DO NOT USE THIS TREE SERVICE! UPDATE: 3/20/12. It's now mid-March, and this guy will not return phone calls, will not come to my house, and will not remove the stump. I'm going to have to pay someone else do finish this guy's job. I've even contacted the Better Business Bureau, and nothing has gotten this fellow to do what he promised. That's it, I've had it! I HAVE QUIT TRYING TO CALL THIS COMPANY. DO NOT USE THIS TREE SERVIE!!
