If there were negative numbers I would choose that. Giving them 1 point is far too generous. There is no communication. No, follow up and their projects go on and on because they are such a disorganized mess. Project managers who have never once been on site. People who do the measuring who do not measure the correct things. The installers were great but can only do what they are told. Hands down one of the most incompetent companies I have ever worked with and I have been renovating homes since 1977. The amount of my time and money these people have consumed with their incompetence is infuriating. Don’t purchase granite countertops from Home Depot, Peoria, IL or there granite supplier The Countertop Factory, Addison, IL.

Installed new carpet in whole house cry efficiently. I appreciated that I do not have unsightly metal strips on edge of carpet since they knew how to install with out putting strips in. It looks great .

The store is definately ramping up there customer service. The isles are filled with customers and the store is filled with staff to assist the best they can. I entered the store and was greated in the first 20' by staff and inquiring to offer assistance. I declined then and 3 other staff before reaching the dept. I was interested in. Another day later, I was in the need for a shelf to add to a kitchen cabinet. I didn't want to purchase a full sheet of wood to make a 16 x 25 shelf. The assoc. shared that he may have a piece in the leftover area to make this from. He offered a pc. that would require minimal cutting. He asked for me to give a price I'm willing to pay for the pc. I said $10, he said, how about $6, I said how about $10 if you cut it to size? He said, how about about $6 and he would cut it to size. I said fantastic. He cut it to the exact size and wanted to help further but my shopping was done. Upon checkout, I was assisted by staff at the self serve counter.

WE WERE SHOPPING FOR 12 CASEMENT WINDOWS AND 3 FRENCH DOORS DURING A REMOLELING PROJECT. I HAD CHECKED LOCAL DISTRIBUTORS AS WELL AS LOWES AND MENARDS FOR ANDERSON PRICES. JERRY AT THE HOME DEPOT PRO DESK GOT ME THE BEST PRICE AND DELIVERY. DURING OUR DISCUSSION JERRY ASKED IF WE NEEDED HELP WITH ANY OTHER MATERIAL. I SAID THAT WE HAD PICKED A SIDING BUT HOME DEPOT DID NOT CARRY THE BRAND. HE SAID THAT THEY COULD GET NEARLY ANY BRAND ON SPECIAL ORDER. WE GAVE HIM A MATERIAL LIST. HE CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY WITH A PRICE AND DELIVERY THAT BEAT THE LOCAL WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTOR BY A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT AND TIME. OVERALL A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP.

They did not show up till nine o'clock in the morning, but they stayed till nine o'clock at night. I paid an extra $70 per window because I have lead in my house. They took no precautions and did not do a thing. They still charged me more because of the hazard that was posed. It was not pretty. Their price was about average. I could've saved about $500 had I bought it from another place. It was my first experience, so I was not sure how these things worked.

It was excellent and I was very impressed.

We went in with a list of the stuff that we needed. We had got parts from distributors and retailers both in the area. The brands that we bought weren’t normally their brands that they have in stock. They went out of their way and placed a special order. The price was better than everybody else’s price in town.
