Superior Water Systems

Purchased softener for $2,600 a little over 2 years ago. We now have terrible water pressure and was told the softener was shot. Two different reps from Superior Water Systems both told me that I was sold the wrong unit, and re-told me multiple times. The rep that sold me the unit had gotten fired, and that this unit was not the correct one for my home and location. They then offered a "discount", that meant I would either pay them $190 to fix the current one so it could happen again in 2 years, $1500 for something a little better, or $3000 if I didn't want the problem to happen again. After reminding them this wasn't my fault as they sold me the wrong unit, I was told that it was my fault for being the one who chose to put it in. If you're looking for an overpriced water softener that will only last a few years and then be told its your fault, superior water systems will do a phenomenal job.

They went totally above and beyond to get me the perfect system for my family. They came back and re-tested the water and even made some adjustments to our system, without being asked. Their customer service is 2nd to none. I highly recommend them. They are very knowledgeable and I feel that I have the absolute best system on the market. I cannot speak highly enough about superior water company . From ownership to customer service, they are top notch.

needed a replacement water softener. The one that came with the home when I bought it, it exploded all over the floor and made a huge mess. The water tech that came to my home was very knowledgeable, and honest, he didn't try to salesman me, just was truthful with all the answers. Plus had references I could look up to back up everything. He answered all my questions I had about the water and the Kinetico unit, which is the brand I went with. The installer cleaned up all the mess and old parts from the broken unit and installed the new unit with professionalism. It looks really nice. I will use Superior Water in the future for all my water needs.

Salesman and technicians were very professional. Installation went very smoothly and technician assured systems were working prior to leaving. At the follow-up visit, they tested water and adjusted system as needed. Very friendly and professional! Would highly recommend.

Price was three times the water softener company that we hired to do the service

Phil called before arrival, was within the time scheduled and performed the job within reasonable time frame.

Searched internet for kinetico dealer and completed quote and water sample test. Gary responded promptly. Came out and did quote the samples. Scheduled installation. Technician was on time and completed installation and explained the system.

This provider was the only one in the Peoria area who truly addressed my water issues. I have hard iron with high iron. What I did not know was that I had iron bacteria. I got estimates from every large water treatment company in the Peoria area. Some stated their softener would handle the iron without a separate iron treatment. Others wanted to include the iron treatment. The first thing the Superior salesman did was to check my toilet tank. The sides were full of slime. I had thought it was just the way things had to be. Because of this bacteria, he set me up with a bacteria treatment, iron treatment, then actual water softening. He also recommended and sold me a mineral filter to go in my water distilling system. It is important to note I had called a softener manufacturer for some tech support issues. They specifically told me to address the issues with iron bacteria or I would not be successful in my efforts to truly clean up my water. It was almost as if the Superior Water salesman had tapped my phone. He went right to the heart of the matter. The installation took most of a day. The installers were professional and stuck right to the job. There were a couple minor issues, but that is to be expected with such a complicated setup. The installer came back and took care of everything. My only 2 complaints are: 1. With this new system, I get a very fine grain in the tub with hot water. This grain was not present before the water system installation. It seem to be more aesthetic than anything, and thus far has not caused any problems with my appliances. It is just an annoyance. 2. There was some cleaning supply setup included in the bill. I still have no idea how much this cost me and if I could have gotten a better deal without it, but it was never an option to not have the cleaning supplies. This was a big enough deal I would have gone elsewhere, but since no one else seemed to know to treat my water problems, I pretty much was locked in to this vendor.

Salesman was easy to work with. Installers were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves.

Better than anticipated especially seeing immediate results with soaps, laundry, showering and drinking.
