EXTENDED WARRANTY IS ESSENTIAL with this vendor. I've done business with them for a couple of decades, when I lived in Bloomington and now in Peoria, and they've gone soooo far downhill. Repair person just left after the FOURTH attempt to repair this relatively new dishwasher. Still not fixed. No apology. Repairman just laughed. Told us to just wait for a call and he'll be back. So glad we bought the Extended Warranty. By now, after all the parts and labor--with more to come--, it would probably have been cheaper for them to just replace the dishwasher. Shop somewhere else!!! This was the Electrolux Model #FGIP2468UFDA. From their warehouse. I will never ever buy anything from their warehouse, if I ever do business with them again. I'm suspecting their huge warehouse is full of refurbished junk that doesn't work.

Terrible customer service. In 9 weeks I never once heard from my sales person. I called for updates and she never called me back. Once my furniture arrived I was told I could pick a delivery day but that I needed to have the entire day open because they would call me in the morning between 8am and 10am and give me a two hour delivery window. They wouldn't even let me choose am or pm. I took the entire day off work and my delivery window is 5-7pm! I missed an entire day off work for a delivery time after my work hours. When I called about my complaints, they didn't care AT ALL. Additionally, I found this same furniture set through an online vendor for $1000 less. I ordered it through Sherman's to give local, family business the proceeds as well as called my order in so my sales person got the commission. I couldn't make it back in the store until her day off so I made sure to order over the phone so she got the commission. Customer service is terrible and not worth the additional overhead costs.

I went to the Peoria store on July 1st 2019 needing a new refrigerator. Spent just over $3k on new fridge and got one delivered the next day that looks like it lost a fight to a UFC fighter. Customer support told me the morning of delivery “we know the doors are dented but we have already ordered new doors for you, they should arrive soon!” Now its been 4 months and I still don’t have new doors! They call every 2 weeks or so and apologize and say it’ll be a little longer, but this is ridiculous! I did not buy one of the “scratch and dent” units that have a discounted price but I’m certain that’s what they delivered me. I’m extremely disappointed in Shermans after this experience.

Their furniture store is also excellent. We buy a lot of stuff with them. They have their own service contracts. they are good price-wise. We have not had one problem with them, knock on wood. They will match everyone in towns price. They are a "mom and pop" place. They have appliances and furniture. They will actually look up the competitor's price for you. He has a commercial about how they will match the price. There aren't a lot of furniture stores in this area. A lot of them are not here anymore. They have good, quality products and stand behind their stuff. You couldn't ask for much more. Their salesman stay there.

They were prompt and friendly and fair with their price and very upfront. They told me how much it would cost and repeated it several times. They charge 50$ to come out even if there was nothing repaired. They are also coming again to look at my washer. They are very trustworthy and they were punctual and took time to explain what they were doing.

I feel like this conversation did not go well and that Paul has sold me a piece of junk and is not willing to take it back.

I like that the dishwasher runs well and the installation was good. It was fine. They did a good job. It was $379 for the whirlpool dishwasher, $129 for the installation and to take away the old dishwasher plus tax. I compared the price online and found it was very competitive. The dishwasher runs fine. They were very responsive. They had it installed and they take the calls when I call. It's a really a well-run group. They were very punctual. They came exactly when they said they would come. They set up a 2 hr window. They called that morning to say when they will be in and they were in. They were very professional. They took the shoes off. They were very careful not to disturb anything. They put stuff down on the kitchen floor so when they removed the old dishwasher the tile wasn't scratched. I had good experiences from these people overtime. I wasn't totally surprised by the outcome.

The sales staff and delivery staff were very friendly and willing to help. We did not have any issues with either the delivery, or the sales transaction. They have a nice selection to choose from in there store, and they are also locally owned which was really really nice. They were actually cheaper than the big box stores that we had looked at in town. I would use this company in the future.
